If you have heard the saying “one is none, two is one” then you will understand why having a second high fail item on hand when you are in the field is important. Currently have 2 sets of manifold gauges and it never fails, one will go down and I have to rely on the other. Unfortunately, the last time my digital (name brand removed) gauges went down and had to go back in for warranty work, my analog (name brand removed) low-pressure gauge bit the dust. So, in my search for a replacement set of analog gauges (not the entire manifold set) I came across this. Here are my thoughts:The manifold set came quickly and was packaged more than appropriately as it is in its own injection molded carry case with high-density foam cutouts for each piece. Instructions for those who have never used a manifold set, etc. Pretty impressive setup. But I was still more than skeptical.During a preliminary test, discovered that one of the R134 adapters O-ring was bad. I checked the remainder of the “serviceable” rings and replaced them to be on the safe side. Following this, there are no more leaks. So, this guy is well made. It is solid, heavy-duty and the gauges are actually spot on. I compared this to another service guys (name brand removed) analog just for shiggles, and it was within 1 point of accuracy. Okay….I am digging it.Kind of ran it through its paces over the past few days doing mobile work, seems the state of TN cannot decide how to maintain a normal temperature, so I have been doing more AC work than usual for this time of year. One of the neatest parts about this is the vacuum pump valve and included hose. Makes it SO much easier to connect your freon, vacuum pump and the vehicle all at once. Pull your vac, wait…feed the freon. My (name brand removed) analog gauges do not do this and they cost 4 times what these do!The only weak point I can foresee is the included hoses. They work; I can attest to that. But I will likely swap them for (name brand removed) hoses just to be safe.Overall, this is a stupid awesome deal. I am impressed.Highly recommend!

This is a great set, the hoses are nice and thread on easy with a good seal. I have a few other sets that are only 3 hoses and the 4th one really haps keep everything sealed instead of having to swap the vac line to refrigerant. Some of the cheaper kits do not have a refrigerant purge like this one and that alone makes this so much better than the slightly cheaper kits.
