While I wanted to love this hutch it has proven to be more problematic then anything else. First it smells very strongly when unboxing and for days afterwards which was manageable with windows open but from 3 days into owning this product and cleaning both cages daily there is still an abundance of poop and pee on the floor every morning and evening. I have tried different liners, don't use shavings or carefresh as it will also fall right out of the gap in between the removable tray and the walls. The tray does not sit flush with the walls and leaves gaps for pee and poop to fall everywhere. Since day 3 not a day has gone by where there has not been poop and pee on the floor. The leak proof tray is true but what is left out is the fact that the tray is not flush against the wall, there are big gaps for everything to fall through and unless your bunny or guinea pig has a mind to pee directly in the inside of the tray every time pee will be everywhere. It was definitely a waste of money being that I now need to find new cage solutions.

I had just put this together when the next day we had a major storm come through and tear a bunch of stuff up on my property and flipped this and moved it about 15 feet from where it originally(was not staked down yet at this time) was and it help together perfectly with no damage. We are now a week out from that and it has it residents living in it and they seem happy for it being a temporary home. My only complaint is when the rabbit on top goes to the restroom it slides down the wall to the rabbit on bottom. That would probably not be a problem for people who have box trained rabbits and will put a box in there. Overall I am happy with it.

First off, the assembly was super easy! Second, the hutch wasn’t covered in harsh chemicals or white mold. I have bought from aivituvin in the past and while the hutch I bought from them is a decent home for my buns, once I opened the box to assemble it, I could smell all kinds of weird chemicals. Not to mention every single piece of the hutch had to be wiped down thoroughly because it was covered in white mold (even in the smallest, tightest little spaces). And lastly, it’s spacious and just all around a great home for my rabbits. I didn’t even have to buy bunny houses for them. That comes included in the hutch! (Also, I was scared that the latches wouldn’t be sturdy at first, but trust me, they will definitely keep your rabbits safe! The clip on the wire door can easily be tightened to your liking.)

Straightforward to put together. Materials are a bit cheap but fine for what the thing costs. Looks cute but definitely not for outdoor use. I've only had mine outside for two months and it's already cracking in places and the floor trays are so warped I can't even pull the top one out. It would be fine indoors though. Will not be buying this again, should have trusted my gut and just built something.

I found this easy to put together. And generally I like the design. However the plastic liner in the tray warped and became unusable within one week. I’m sure I can figure out a workaround. But I don’t think I should have to at the price I paid. I paid this price precisely so that I did not have to design my own cage. If you buy this, make sure you’re getting a bargain basement price. Otherwise it’s too expensive for the quality…

I love this! Super easy to put together. The one board was broke but it was an easy fix. Plus I was able to put hinges on it so the top cage opens. My bunnies love their privacy from their new bedrooms.Cons - The wood is very flimsy and I dont like how the trays dont come out of the "frame". The wood is going to wear down quickly getting wet every week.

The instructions seemed pretty clear to me, yes the items aren’t number but the instructions are pictures.... kinda hard to mess that up! Took my 45 min to open, inspect and set up. ( smelled great- cedar) nothing was damaged and all the peices fit together perfectly. I wouldn’t recommend using power tools the wood is soft. Also I don’t think it would hold up very well outdoors. Definitely suggest adding most support to the trays depending on your needs. I purchased it for our meat rabbits to use before weaning them. I don’t like the traditional wire people use, I feel they should to be comfortable and happy. So the hutch will be indoors 90% of the time. I am planning on adding wheels to it soon.

Very disappointed, package came without any hardware (screws etc) to put together. Very cheap and flimsy material. Would not recommend buying this product.

Fantastic value. Very generous size, with easy to clean trays. Put it together by myself with a minimum of cursing. Sturdy construction with generous size doors.

After using this cage for only a month and a half the guinea pigs have eaten the whole inside of the cage it is now coming apart not to mention this cage in not meant for guinea pigs like THEY ADVERITISE IT bc this cage does not hold the bedding. When i called to complain about the cage being garbage after ONLY a month and a half Alexis one of the employees informed me they will not refund me because its not there problem my guinea pigs ate the cage, even though THEY ADVERTISE it as a guinea pig cage ( it should be strong enough for a guine pig then) This cage is poor quality and not worth the money unless you are looking to throw away $125 a month. I will not purchase anything from this company again and advise people not to be cheap like i was being and spend the $250-$300 on a GOOD cage that will last longer than a month
