About this item

  • Tiny Shrimp Net: Diameter: 2 inches; Pocket depth: 2 inches. The aquarium shrimp net is suitable for scooping shrimp, fry and baby fish. Perfect net for small fish tank or bowl.
  • Fine Nylon Mesh: The well-woven nylon netting is really soft to touch. And it stretches naturally in the water without wrinkling. Effectively prevent injuries to the shrimp or delicate fish.
  • Telescopic Handle: The stainless steel handle is 5.3 inches long when closed and 15.5 inches long when extended. The rod is stiff and uneasy to get bent or rusty. Easily reach deep into the tank without getting wetting.
  • Versatile Use: The tiny fish tank net can securely catch or transfer small fish and shrimp. Also excellent for skimming debris, food residue or leaves from aquariums or small ponds to keep them clean.
  • Easy to Store: The key ring at the end of the handle is designed for hanging. Simply clean the mesh and hang it through the ring in a cool and ventilated place after use.

This is a very small but very strong net. The fact that it is extendable- is AMAZING. I am very hapy with my purchase. Keeps my little guys safe!

This item popped up as I was searching Amazon for supplies to start raising Brine Shrimp Eggs.As you can see from the photos I have some available 'top of the tank' space problems. It's been a pain working on a couple of my Nano Aquariums. The 'normal' handle lengths on the nets I've purchased in the past have at times been an issue.I've had to cut or bend the long handles down or get wet dipping into these tanks. The telescoping handle feature seemed to be an answer.I ordered the 2" Round Net as part of my supply order.Surprisingly soon after my order arrived I had a use for it in this tank.My Pygmy Corydoras started breeding and I had to net them out after they finished. It worked perfectly!Later, after removing the Cory eggs, I was once again using it in this tank. This time to move some Neocaridina Shrimp to another tank.Again it worked perfectly. The unit is extremely well made and the net soft and fine enough not to damage my 'Nano' Fish and Shrimps.I will definitely be ordering more of these nets in different sizes and shapes.I can see the telescoping 'Standard Mesh' nets getting a lot of use in my 55 and 29 Gallon Aquariums.

I love this net. I have a 36 gal bow front that’s about 16” tall and it reaches all the way down to my substrate without getting my hand wet! Pretty sturdy design compared to to my cheap generic green wire one! Net size is great for my shrimp. The net is also, like a stiffer material that doesn’t really sway as much when I’m moving it.

This net is great for catching small fish in my experience. I had a bunch of fry to catch around plants. With this net I'm able to move around the plants and catch the fish. The net is stiff enough that it doesn't grab the plants like my larger soft nets. The telescope feature is nice for storage.

Should have read the description better; it's small! I use these to nets to clean out a water feature in ouryard. Leaves and stuff get blown in. I keep it as reminder to read carefully descriptions. It'll work well inside the home aquarium

Small- good for nano tanks and nano inhabitants. (Net would be too small for fish larger than guppies.)I like that the handle extends and retracts, helping with storage.

I needed a smaller net for a smaller fish bowl where some fish fry were being kept. This net was a perfect size!
