Great value for money with this drive, its speeds are pretty insane when you first get one! the boot time is miniscule compared to a hard drive. amazing performance while im playing games or even downloading them. amazing quality and easy to install. the only bad part is the 256GB size, i’d recommend going with atleast 512GB!

I was an early adopter of the Pi5 and "knockoff" off brand nvme hats. Not all of them played well with every drive. I had numerous drives that for whatever reason, failed to work with the earlier versions of the PI5 & NVME hats I had. I was suferiing stability issues with some, i.e. it would boot then freeze later, and it would just not detect others.I bought this drive and I haven't had an issue since. It gets powered up with whatever cheap NVME hat I have connected. It's not picky. I love it!

I picked this up purely to use as a boot drive in my HTPC. It's maybe not PCIe 5.0, but it's still fast, I've done a few tests on it and it passes without issue. Perfect.

I ordered one of these drives, specifically the 256GB model, for my new Raspberry Pi with a NVMe and POE+ HAT+. The drive works perfectly even with the Pi forced to Gen3x1 mode (Pi 5 is certified to Gen2 but can be set to Gen3), obtaining over 800MB/sec speeds.

I use this with a uGreen USB3.2 adapter on the USB3 port on a Raspberry Pi 4. It provides much better performance than the micro SDHC built-in to the device. It support SMART under Linux and provides what looks like sensible stats. This is not a high-performance card that I would use in a modern desktop but is plenty fast enough for USB3 on a Pi. As for the number of write cycles it will support - time will tell. The SDHC is poor in that regard so I'm hoping for better. The Raspberry Pi image to switch the firmware from micro-SDHC boot to USB boot priority is on the Raspberry Pi OS site. There are several methods to copy your micro-SDHC to a USB device. I happened to use the dd command on a separate LInux computer, followed by parted & expandfs because I was also going from 32GB to 128GB. All is well.Watch the power consumption though. It will add up to 7W (1.2A @5V) to the load on the Pi, so if you have other USB devices that consume power you might find that the you need a powered hub to provide auxilliary power. On a desktop or laptop that is unlikely to be a problem.

I was a bit skeptical having read some of the reviews. The price was certainly good. I have a five year old laptop where the NVMe drive was generating errors and going out. When the SSD arrived I attempted a clone operation from the old laptop drive but it was so full of errors the clone failed. (Not the fault of the new drive.) I decided to just replace the bad drive with this new one and load Windows11 from scratch. The operation went smoothly and soon I was up an running on the new drive. No more errors! It took most of the day to load the Microsoft Window updates and get my software loaded up again. The drive works great! I would purchase again if I had the need. I can't speak to longevity but parts is parts so who knows.Update May 25; The Windows 11 event viewer reports NO drive errors. (The old bad drive was kicking out multiple drive errors.) The speed is very good and the laptop is running great. The laptop is being used everyday.Update July 1; Came home and found the laptop was showing a HD failure. The drive failed and can't be recovered. Now I'm past the return date with Amazon and my data is lost. DON'T buy this drive as you get what you pay for!

This little SSD is priced well, packaged well, and works great. It plugs into the computer motherboard, a five minute install. It doesn't hold much at 128G, but I needed a boot ssd for Linux, and this is perfect.
