The chairs look great when new, but only after 7 months they are rusting (see photos). They are kept outside in a covered patio, so no direct rain exposure (located in central Florida) .They might be a challenge for some to assemble, but it wasn't difficult, just tedious.At this price point, for an outdoor patio chair, I would look for another option.

Really like these chairs. Very comfortable, sturdy. The only drawback was the difficult assembly. The holes/screws do not line up properly so my hubby had to fight with them .

I am impressed with the quality of these chairs. They sit flat and give nice support without making you feel like you are going to flip over backwards on it. They look great, too. The assembly was not hard BUT I would recommend real tools! The little hex key and the ridiculous “wrenches” they give you are just plain dangerous to your hands and I never would have been able to get the bolts as tight as they needed to be without a real wrench and socket. Save LOTS of time by using real tools…even if you have to buy them for this project.

(UPDATE to my original review. The chair arms have a small inclusion area that holds water. The chair back and seats also hold water. These chairs are better suited for a covered patio, not an open aired deck that gets rain water.) These are really nice quality chairs. However they could have tried a little harder with the instructions and tips. As long as you take time to study the diagram before you start, all should be fine. All parts were present and accounted for with a couple extra plastic nut covers. The hardware comes on a piece of cardbard shrink wrapped in plastic with the letters of each part labeled above part. I would recommend cutting the plastic around each part section and using them right from the cardboard so that you have the letters to easily refrence during installation. Each chair took about an hour to assemble. Since not all of the screws holes and or brackets are welded in perfectly straight, it is important to not fully tighten the srews untill you have the seat, back and arms assembled as one unit. This will give you the ability to manipulate the pieces and allow the screws to go in without to much of a fight. To sum it up, I feel these are great chairs for the price if you are willing to go through the assembly process yourself.* I would have given these a 5 star review if the instructions had been better. Aslo the arms did have a few minor scratches out of the box.

The chairs look great and with the high back are comfortable and relaxing. However assembly can be tough since the hole and threaded sockets do not always align well. I ended up drilling out the non threaded holes to more of an elliptical shape so I could hand start the bolts and avoid cross threading. You don’t have to drill out the holes a great deal, just 1/16” will work. After assembling the first chair I drilled out all the holes fastening the arms to the chair. This didn’t take long and reduced frustration and difficulties. Obviously don’t drill out the threaded side, just the hole where the bolts pass through. If you do this straight away you will save time and avoid frustration. Once assembled the chairs are great. Also as a tip when assembling keep the bolts loose until all are in. Then go back and tighten them. Getting a set of T- Drive Allen wrenches will save your fingers.

Assembly is time consuming (see picture of parts to assemble), but worth it! Some reviews state that assembly was easy, don't believe it! Most threads on tapped holes require forced torquing but Allen type heads on screw(bolts) can take it. This is where most of the assembly time is spent. Could not fully assemble one chair because some bolts wouldn’t fully tighten or fit and are working with seller on solution.Waiting on supplier to send replacement parts.After assembling all chairs only 2 chairs swivel easily, the other 4 remaining chairs swivel but with difficulty and usually the bottom ring on the floor will turn also. Have applied lubricant to pivot joint but little improvement.Replacement parts received. While all that was needed was two parts ( a seat piece and an arm), but supplier actually sent parts for two additional chairs! How’s that for excellent service!Love the quality of these chairs. Highly recommend purchasing. The quality and service are excellent!

I bought four of these chairs. I hardly know where to begin to thank this seller for its honesty. They arrived very well packed with no damage and no missing parts. But when I assembled them, the chair posts would not insert easily into the bases, and, therefore, would not swivel easily, a citically important feature. I applied lithium grease to the posts and shafts, to no avail.I complained. I was asked to send photos, which I did. I was also advised to grease the posts and the base shafts. I informed the seller that I had already done that on my own initiative.I was then begining to think the seller was making excuses and would not make thiings right. Other sellers of these chairs demand that the buyer return defective or damaged chairs to the seller AT THE BUYER'S EXPENSE. That is what I suspected would be their next step.I wrote to the seller: send four new posts and four new bases, verifying that the posts swiveled easily into the bases.Guess what? The seller agreed and sent four new posts and bases at their expense. I installed them and the chairs now swivel easily.They are great chairs at an unbelievably reasonable price (got mine on sale). Very comfortable with a little rocking motion and 360-degree easy swiveling.TERRIFIC, HONEST SELLER WITH ABSOLUTE INTEGRITY. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER.
