They really work! Edges are not over baked and the cake is flat (evenly cooked). Amazing difference.

They won’t stay on my cake pants. I’m very disappointed with this product. You can’t tighten it to make it stay in place. It slides right off the pan there easily. Too afraid that it may catch fire in my oven. I have discontinue using this item. I do not recommend this item because I feel that it is not safe to use and your oven. However, I waited too long to use them and now I can’t get a refund for them. I do not recommend this item.

UPDATE 07/04/2024: Okay. So, I'm a moron. I saw this random video with a guy backing a cake and using cake pan wraps and the guy was soaking his as he was going along in his video. And, I thought, "Hmmm. That makes so much more sense! I wonder if there is instructions in the description on Amazon that I missed!" Understand, these did not come with instructions, but there IS a how to use them video in the description somewhere here. It, indeed, says you have to soak them. I made cakes today and soaked these cake wraps. They are still hard to get them to stay on the pans, hence the three stars, as they kind of slide right off, but if you can manage to get them tight enough while getting them into the oven, they do work!!Back in June 2024: They didn't fit the pan and kept sliding off, they only stayed on because they rested on the oven rack. The dome of my cake was huge, not level at all. Save your money. These are useless and I can't understand how they got so many good reviews

I thought these were 12” long but was willing to try to combine them with my longer straps. Apparently it meant fits 12” cake pan. They worked perfectly. I pinned the first ones but discovered they stay put. I’m ordering more!

I am constantly baking especially cakes for family and friends. I tried these strips because I heard they make cakes bake better. These strips were not to my expectations. They do not stay on. they are very flimsy and I could not use them at all. They would not even stay on the smaller 6" pans. Very disappointing.
