I had another clarinet thumb rest squishy— I think it was by Protec? And I thought it was the best... however, it was also annoying, since it would slide off of my thumb rest. When I lost it, I was sad, and I needed a thumb rest that would come in time for a special event. I decided to try these, and I’m so glad I did. These are the perfect size! the protec one was way too thick. These are smaller and get the job done, as they don’t slip on me. And if I lose one, I still have more! Very happy with this purchase!

I purchase these to add to student line horns that I sell during rental season. They work very well for most clarinets. Not as comfortable as some more expensive brands but very nice for normal usage. I will keep buying these for the horns I sell.

Fits both my clarinet and oboe thumb rests. See pics, oboe on the left. They occasionally fall off my young pupils’ clarinets (variety of thumb rest sizes), but they do like to fiddle with them!
