Unfortunately this product did not meet the standards I had hope that it would. After initial was I was prepared to use it to butter the loaves of bread I had baked. As I was spreading the butter on top of the new loaves to my surprise the bristles started to come out. Had to find them as I really don't wish to eat themInferior product

This is my fault again not looking at the description well enough. This is a quality pastry brush, I'm quite sure it works well, and easy to clean. A clean color too.

We use these pastry brushes for marinades, BBQ sauce and anything that needs spreading. They are good brushes.

It has shed a few bristles. I have to watch so I can be sure to remove them from food.

I seem to have to throw bristle brushes out regularly because of shedding bristles and the fact that they become hard to clean after awhile. So this set at a good price makes it easier to justify using bristle brushes rather than convert to silicone brushes which just don't seem to do the job as well. Will buy again as needed.

First off, yes the bristles come off. But I do love the product. I don’t mind plucking them off my food while brushing it, it’s not like you don’t see it and then end up eating them, the bristles are noticeable. I hate the silicone brushes and this gets a very even coverage. It’s a “this for that” kind of item
