Cutting is not that good. Second time using it, the cutters were not cutting all the way through, I had to separate each strand by hand. Not a fan of this brand.

Did not want to spend the kitchen aid prices so I tried this. Worked well and was an enjoyable experience. Love the options but the roller can be used for any type of dough (pastries).

I remember my grandma making home made pasta and it always was an event. Normally we would get the store bought stuff, but for special occasions it was always home made. Throughout my adult life I never attempted making pasta, as I always considered this task very labour intensive. After talking about pasta making to one of my friends who served home made fettuccine I was really surprised to learn that it actually isn't that difficult. Next time I had a chance I ordered a pasta maker attachment for my trusty Kitchen Aid mixer. The attachment is super easy to install and fits the same way as any other mixer accessories. The pasta maker functions as a pasta roller and cutter (for spaghetti and fettuccine)Aimed with a recipe, tablet opened to some videos and with my daughter helping we started making the dough. I have to say, the mixer made quick work of it and the whole process was much easier, much faster and much less messy than I remember. Once the dough was prepared we fed it into the pasta maker which rolled it out to correct thickness. At that point my daughter pretty much completely took over because it was like playing with playdough. In just few steps we were ready to cut the sheets into pasta. Initially our dough was a bit too sticky, but after sprinkling everything with a good amount of flour it went through easily and we got our first home made fettuccine! Pretty awesome experience! In the end we ended up with probably 2 times too much pasta, but we can tweak the quantities later.Overall the whole process was much easier than I expected. It was fun for me and for my daughter and the pasta maker worked flawlessly. I'm very happy with this choice, definitely recommended!

I've always had a desire to make my own pasta and with this attachment, I was finally able to do so. Surprisingly, the attachment was easy to use and made really uniform pieces of pasta. The attachment wasn't overly priced and worked well so it was a great purchase for me.

I’ve been a passionate — manual — pasta maker for over 30 years. So when I saw this handy little appliance, I was really eager to try it with my KitchenAid. While the actual use of the machine lived up to expectations, and beyond; if you don’t have room on your kitchen counter to leave out your beast of a KitchenAid Mixer — at all times — then taking it out of a cabinet (in my case, a lower cabinet), can and will be a huge chore. And a workout.Once I had the mixer out and prepped, the Pasta Maker Attachment was really easy to use. The pasta sheet roller created lovely even sheets, a vast improvement over my old hand-rolled technique. The included attachments for spaghetti and fettuccine made quick work of cutting the pasta, offering consistent results – a welcome change from what I could manage with my hand roller (wobbly angel hair and fettuccine).Of course, once you have your KitchenAid out, you can make the pasta dough right in the bowl. I’ve always made pasta by hand, and I’ll continue to doing it that way, because, like making bread, I find it therapeutic. The joy of fresh pasta making goes beyond the delicious end product. I have such fond memories (and video) of making pasta with my son, both when he was a toddler, mesmerized by the scent of raw pasta, and later as a teenager, enthusiastically cranking the handle of the hand roller with his friends. This KitchenAid attachment can't replicate those shared experiences, but it does streamline the process, making fresh pasta a more accessible option for busy weeknights. The KitchenAid Pasta Maker Attachment is a great tool for anyone who wants to enjoy homemade pasta without the elbow grease of hand-rolling. It’s very easy to use. It creates even sheets of pasta. It makes fresh pasta making more efficient. Just be sure you have a dedicated spot for your mixer.Oh, I also REALLY like that one attachment does it all. I don't have to switch between the roller and the cutters on the KitchenAid.

The KMUCHCI brand pasta maker attachment for KitchenAid stand mixers offers a premium designed and build quality 3 in 1 pasta machine capable of producing pasta flat sheets, spaghetti, fettuccine and more. This kit includes everything needed except of course, the KitchenAid stand mixer and food ingredients of your choosing. The flavor, texture, and overall sensory profile of fresh versus dried pasta are well known. Despite this, the vast majority of pasta consumed is dry rather than fresh. One of the primary reasons for this is the perceived degree of difficulty and specialized equipment needed to produce fresh pasta. This pasta maker is a game changer that has the ability to change existing perceptions of barriers to fresh pasta production. Let’s start with the perceived equipment barrier to fresh pasta making.Existing pasta making equipment traditionally focused on all inclusive machines that are usually quite heavy and bulky in size, powered by either built in motors or old fashioned hand cranking that was often slow, tedious, and messy with lots of cleanup require afterwards. The machines typically had a fair number of additional attachments that had to be assembled and disassembled with each use. Even cleanup afterward was often complicated. The present item under review, in contrast, is relatively lightweight (1.6 KG), compact (25 x 25 x 25 mm) and uses a standard KitchenAid stand mixer PTO (not included) for both mounting and powering the device. Happily, there are no additional cutters or bulky attachments to assemble/disassemble each use. The product designers have thoughtfully and properly included each of the different cutting heads inside and already built into the main unit.Storing traditional pasta machines between use has often been a hassle also. The machines tend to be irregularly shaped and have bits and pieces jutting out. These pieces impede storage placement and removal, and are also prone to breaking off over time. The present unit, in contrast, is slim and streamlined with no additional pieces sticking out, and no additional pieces or accessories to worry about. This cutter is made from SUS 304 grade stainless steel. Renowned within the food industry, SUS 304 stainless steel is a food safe, corrosion and acid resistant, chemical free premium grade material renowned for extended trouble-free years of service. Attaching this unit to the KitchenAid stand mixer is as simple as inserting the driveshaft into the PTO jack of the mixer and then hand tightening the connecting thumb screw. Cleanup is also easy and a simple clean water rinse is recommended rather than soap, chemical, or dishwasher applications. The product description contains a most excellent three minute video that is definitely worth watching. This video expertly walks through each stage of the pasta production and cooking cycles relevant to this machine, starting with mixing the pasta dough in the KitchenAid and culminating with a yummy looking plate of freshly cooked pasta. This reviewer can hardly wait for the design team to come out with a sister product that will make delicious Italian sauces from start to finish just as simply and reliably as this very worthy pasta making/cutting combo! Conclusion: The KMUCHCI brand pasta maker attachment for KitchenAid stand mixers offers a premium designed and build quality 3 in 1 pasta machine capable of producing pasta flat sheets, spaghetti, fettuccine and more. An overall product score of 5/5 is assigned accordingly.

The Kmuchci Pasta Maker Attachment for KitchenAid Stand Mixers is a very well made accessory for anyone looking to make fresh pasta at home with ease. The 3-in-1 design offers the essential attachments for creating spaghetti, fettuccine, and lasagna sheets, making it straightforward to produce a variety of pasta types without multiple separate tools. The setup and use is simple, especially for those familiar with KitchenAid mixers. Like all their attachments, it fits snugly onto the mixer without wobble or excess noise. In terms of performance, the cutting and rolling functions operate smoothly and with a perfect level of consistency, producing pasta with an authentic texture that rivals the pasta we've been buying from fresh pasta shops. The stainless steel construction feels durable and substantial, and I think it will withstand regular use for years. Cleaning is pretty easy and straightforward, with the pieces designed to minimize dough sticking, though like most pasta attachments, they do require gentle care to keep the rollers and cutters in optimal condition. I let the bits of dough and flour that may remain dry completely so they are much easier to brush off.Overall, the Kmuchci pasta attachment is a great alternate to the name brand and is perfect for anyone wanting to make pasta from scratch at home. I would recommend.

I have the pricey Kitchenaid 3-piece set but don’t use it often because I find it too much work switching from one piece to another. This one is not as well built, makes a lot of squeaky noise, and the setting dial has rough sharp edge that you have to be careful not to get cut, but it’s a 3-in-1, making it a lot easier to use and I use it a lot more often. Thin noodles come out fully stuck together but it could be my dough. I just make wide noodles now. Got it on sale so it exceeded my expectation.
