I ordered this pasta maker because my wife and I have always wanted to try making our own pasta. It works great! There was a lot of trial and error, but eventually we found our groove. We have only made fettucine and spaghetti so far, and we were surprised at how easy it was. It was easy to clean, as well. The most difficult part of the process was finding a recipe and thickness we liked. The Pasta maker itself was the least of our problems. The value is awesome, in my opinion for the quality of the product. We are really happy with it. Highly recommend!

The first thing I do with these types of attachments is check them for lead. These were negative for lead. They are made from 303/304 stainless steel and the type you cannot put in the dishwasher as they will change color. Included are a pasta roller for sheets, spaghetti or thin cut, and fettuccine wide cut. I had no problem installing the attachments on my Kitchen-Aid mixer. I have spent many years perfecting my pasta dough and have always used an old manual pasta machine. The only time I had an issue was with the thin cut but I figured out how to keep it from bunching up. Using these attachments produces the same quality pasta my manual machine does but faster. The detachable fuselage let me clean them great with hot water and dish liquid. I have a sprayer on my faucet which does a great job rinsing out debris and suds. Overall these pasta attachments do a good job of making fresh pasta. I would order this set again.

My mom's KitchenAid attachments were accidentally given away, so these are replacements for her and she said they work just as good as her original ones did.

We were very excited to try this pasta roller set of mixer attachments because we already own a manual pasta machine. Although our manual machine produces excellent results, it's painstakingly slow. We also have an extrusion-style pasta attachment that performs well enough for what it is, but simply can't do what the sheeter does.We usually set aside one weekend every 2 months to make fresh pasta in bulk. Whatever we can't consume immediately, we dry for later use. The sheeter attachment really sped things along. Fresh lasagna noodles were less exhausting to make. The cutting rollers weren't all that special. Been there, done that. The fettuccine cutter is essentially just clutter, but it worked adequately if you're into that.Operation is simple and intuitive. The roller thickness knob is a bit finicky, but when it does slip into the proper position it actually does a fairly decent job. The machines are difficult to get clean to my liking without disassembling the units, because the rollers don't spin so freely when detached from the mixer. Although disassembly isn't difficult, it may be a barrier to some.Overall, I appreciate the roller set for what it is and the amount it saves us in prep time. Mechanically, the sheeter isn't the best. Could it be engineered better for ease of use and cleaning?? You bet. I'd recommend it to users who are already well-versed in rolling pasta with a manual machine looking to speed things along, but only if the price is right.

These attachments do a fine job of making various pastas. I also have a set of genuine KitchenAid pasta attachments and these compare favorably with the OEM set.

I got this pasta attachment set for my KitchenAid mixer, thinking it’d be a great for homemade pasta. It has three pieces: a roller for sheets, a spaghetti cutter, and a fettuccine cutter. The stainless steel feels heavy and fits right on the mixer. It works pretty well for basic pasta, but there’s a learning curve. The roller sometimes sticks a bit, and it can be tricky to get the pasta thickness just right without tearing. The spaghetti cutter also tends to jam up if the dough isn’t exactly right, which can be frustratingggggg. Soooo.. it’s decent for making pasta at home if you’re willing to experiment, but it takes some patience to get it working smoothly. Not bad, but not as foolproof as I hoped!

This is a set of "pasta cutters" to attach to a KitchenAid stand mixer. This allows you to make your own dough and then use these attachments to cut spaghetti, fettuccini, or pasta sheets (lasagna, ravioli, etc). There are three separate attachments, one for each kind, and the pasta sheet attachment has a dial to adjust the thickness of the pasta sheet for different applications.Overall, this is a nice set and works well. Seems easy enough to clean as well. However, it is about 20% more expensive than a lot of other "3rd party" sets that are almost identical. So while it's still a deal over the name brand set, you can get maybe the exact same thing elsewhere for 20% less at time of review. While I can't directly compare them since I don't have the other sets, these seem to be one of those "mass manufactured" sets that just go to different resellers. There is no brand name or product placement on the box, it's a plain brown cardboard box with an Amazon sticker on it, so it's likely the exact same thing.Overall, these work! Not the worst purchase on the planet...but when you can get the same thing cheaper, why wouldn't you?
