Since I was rebuilding a 700r4/4L60 transmission, but did not know the year (it's a later model, maybe 90-92?) I didn't have a way to go off a part number search for a replacement plate. I didn't want to go the TransGo option, so I checked the holes in the picture to ensure they lined up as closely as possible to mine. I ended up opening up one hole slightly to match the plate coming out. Installed fine and transmission is functioning as designed now.Just make sure that the holes in the new one line up with the one coming out. That is critical!
