I initially intended on purchasing tubes saw that these were a cheaper option. They work just as well and cost less. No complaints thus far.

I just got delivered these and I managed to assemble a few so here is my review based on quality and assembly.The boxes, after assembly, look reasonably strong and will withstand light weight items up to 5 or may be 10 lbs. So they will do the job if you plan to ship lightweight items.As for the shipping dimensions, they are over the specified dimensions. The actual length after assembly is 37.5” or 38” for UPS/FedEx and the width is about 1/8 to 3/16” over the specifications. In my case, I bought the 37” x 2” so it should not affect my shipping rates by UPS since they have minimum width at 3”. But if you are getting the 3” or 4” width tubes or the 48” length tubes, it will materially affect your shipping costs and DIM weight. So keep that in mind if you are buying 3” or higher width tubes and 48” length. You are definitely over by an inch on both length and width for both FedEx and UPS. You can roll the dice but if your package gets audited, you will incur extra charges. It should he OK for USPS shipping as they don’t care about fractional difference in dimensions.As for assembly, it assembled easily but couple of caveats. The closing flap part on both ends will invariably be mangled after the handling so it’s a bit of a monkey wrench to attempt to thread the needle to close the flaps. Not exactly a snap but not a major PITA either.. Use a lot of tape to fasten the ends and sides. The sides kind of stick up and need some extra strips of packing tape.Overall, I would give this 4 stars. Functional, practical and cheap but with some drawbacks. Be aware of the dimensions though. The 37 x 2 is definitely 38 x 3 for UPS and FedEx but doesn’t affect the rates for that dimensions. But it will, for 3” + widths and 48” + length, if you get audited or buy postage at UPS store or FedEx Kinkos.Edited to Add 06-April-2022 : So, on the dimensions, both UPS and FedEx round it to the nearest whole number so 0.01-0.49” will be rounded off to the lower number and 0.5-0.99” to the next number so you should be ok using these boxes. They are over the stated dimensions on all sides but only by 1/8” - 1/4” which is still the lower number for rounding purposes.I’ve used quite a few of these to mail and they hold up well. Still a 4 star product.

I wish these came in a few more lengths, but this style of tube is light enough to keep mailing costs down, and sturdy enough to re-use several times!
