I got this for my 9 year old who loves geography and history right now. He loves anything to do with globes or maps. I hung this up next to his bed, and he loves looking at it. He's visually impaired, so being able to get up close and read the map is a big deal for him since he can't typically see the letters on paper. I'm impressed by the quality, it's very soft and smooth but durable. Highly recommend if your kid loves geography!

Got this map to keep track of the places we have visited. This map has great detail and is great for kids as well as adults. The cloth fabric is claimed to be washable, but I hope to never need to wash it. I am very pleased with this map. It should last several years.

I am very happy with this wonderful map! It looks just like the pictures in the description. The printing is very clear and well done. The map is colorful, like the pictures, and the colors are vibrant and strong, not washed out or pale. Everything about the map is correct and well done. I got it just to be a world map, but honestly have been loving the soft flexible fabric that it came on. It has worked really well to let the kids sit or kneel on it, so they can get right up close to point to countries. The fabric is soft, strong, and has been great for really exploring on a floor level. The size is great too. It is generously big to allow kids to group around and see well. The countries and oceans are large enough that you could do some fun activities with it too.

This is a great fabric map! The material has a sheen to it. The colors are vibrant and the printing is very crisp. Easy to read all the country names.I took off one star because I wish this fabric map and metal grommets in the corners instead of slits.Overall, would recommend!

The resolution is excellent and the size is quite large. The corners and center across the top and bottom have eyelets for tying or pinning to your chosen surface. I really appreciate not having to puncture the fabric. The biggest drawback is the color palette. The purple is very dark and makes the text hard to read. The ocean is a lovely set of blues, but the countries are olive green, grey, tan, dark purple, and red. Not only are they visually unappealing, the darker colors give poor contrast to the text.Still, for educational purposes it is a decent map. I appreciate that this doesn’t have the Chinese propaganda of the nine dashed line in the South China Sea, and keeps Ukraine intact. Kashmir is shown as a contested territory. It is definitely a functional tool for kids or a classroom even if it loses a star for aesthetics from me.
