Very well made fan! I totally recommend! I hung it in my bathroom, and it is such a pretty fan. 2 toned wood one is what I purchased.

This wall fan met my requirements: Small; Could be directly wired to bath vanity lighting (no power cube); Non-oscillating; No remote control. I cut off the power plug, direct-wired the fan cord to the vanity lights and mounted the fan between the sinks. The fan switches on/off with the vanity lights. With the fan pointed down, and speed on low, it stirs up the right amount of air to be comfortable on warm days. When not needed, switch off the fan using the pull switch.

A little background we use these fans in our vending trailer builds our customers always ask for ventilation for the servers working in the trailers we’ve installed dozens of different fans all of which fail miserably over the long term due to vibration and constant use. The Parot Uncle has been nearly trouble free we have replaced only one in 2 years of use with 6 in service currently, these trailers have crossed the US coast to coast 20+ times with only one failure…other things have been repaired/replaced but the fans work flawlessly. 👍👍

This was purchased for my son's room and he is super happy with it. He didn't pay for it so he really has no concept of value. He NEVER turns it off so 'fancy' features like a remote control are lost on him. One of the reasons he never turns it off may be because it has no remote but he's also not paying the electric bill so, go figure.Good points:It's a nice, basis fan. We mounted on the ceiling, in a corner and it has the flexibility to be pivoted to point at his bed. Works as intended, is quiet, was easy to install.Meh points:A little pricey ($140) for a completely manual fan. It's nothing special...plain black, kind of small. LOTS of other fans in this price range had MANY more features. LOTS of other, CHEAPER, cooler looking fans were available...with remotes. I only bought this because my son liked the looks of ONLY this fan and I was tired of shopping (summer, and his birthday, beckoned).- It does not / cannot oscillate. It can be manually pivoted but you have to get out of bed to adjust it.- It has a pull cord...ONLY. Cannot be turned on, shut off or have the fan speed adjusted except by getting out of bed and pulling the cord. It's like the manufacturers aren't aware that the technology exists to make this "OK" fan into a great fan.I'd recommend this to people who like the looks of ONLY this fan and don't care about inconvenience of a fully manual fan.

I wanted to add a wall fan to an "average" size second bathroom where a ceiling fan wouldn't fit. This fan is far less expensive than some of the others I was considering and small enough so that it doesn't stick out from the wall very far. I was skeptical when I ordered because it's plastic, but it is well made, looks nice and works great. The only thing I would change is to paint the covers that house the screws and the pull chain bronze to match everything else. I painted mine and it looks finished now.
