We installed the dozen ceiling LEDs in our den/family room which had no windows and very marginal artificial lighting. Having the five color settings was a great help, and we DIY'ed them with a dimmer switch. My wife always complained about the room being dark, and she is smiling. Simply measure your layout and put them wherever, because they're the same thickness as sheet rock and their control boxes are connected by wire and can be easily tucked out of the way. Excellent quality, great bargain! Buying these fixtures, hole saw, wire, switch, and using larger wire nuts wherever needed, we did the whole job for around $200, probably 10% of a contractor's price. Highly recommend!

Slim and does not require bulky recessed cases because bathroom lights are not to be lit for a longer period.

Great value for the money. They work great for what I needed them for, super bright for in kitchen and a nice softer light for in the hallway. Pretty easy to install.

Bought the Parmida lights, and am happy with them. I have been installing LED ceiling lights throughout the house, and the Parmida units seem to have better design features than the brand we installed in our basement. The screw-connector to connect the LED unit to the power supply/junction box seems a lot more secure than the bayonet-style connector on the other brand. Same thing with the cover for the junction box - the Parmida cover has a friction snap on both sides of the cover, while the other brand only had a single friction snap in the center of the cover.Still, the Parmida units could be better:1) 120v junction box with a flimsy fiction-fit cover rather than a cover fastened with a sheet metal screw? Nobody who has ever seen (or thought about) an attic electrical fire feels comfortable with a friction-fit cover that can be dislodged as attic insulation settles, someone climbs in the attic, etc., allowing insulation to enter the junction box, which poses a fire risk. I used a couple turns of friction tape on each junction box to make sure it stays closed, but they should come from the factory with the appropriate mechanical fastener.2) A couple of the lights had the springs installed improperly, with the "L"-shaped end of the spring not inserted into the middle of the coiled part of the spring. A nit, but they aren't designed to work that way...3) The orange covers on the end of the springs are WAY too easy to pop off during installation (or removal). The other brand of LED lights we installed had the same problem, but really - the plastic can't have a small nub/detent to keep the plastic piece on the spring once it is slid onto the spring? All in all, I'm happy with the Parmida lights, and would but them again (unless someone comes out with a light that resolves the above issues).

I bought the same type of lights from a well known lighting brand about 4 months ago and paid more for a 4 pack than I did for 12 of the Parmida brand. In comparison, they are virtually of the same exact construction, making me think that both brands were made in the same factory.I took out the shop lights in my garage and put 5 of these in. What a difference in brightness. And a much cleaner look.My assessment:Packaged well for shipmentQuality is very goodInstallation is much easier than most electrical jobsLens is 'frosted' to diffuse lightLight brightness is good but not great @ 12 watts. Good enough to fill a room if lights are placed correctly, but you will need to position one directly over a workspace for brighter light in that area.NOTE: These lights do not have adjustable dimming as shown in the included instruction sheet. You must buy a separate dimmer switch.Yes, I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

During a recent remodel we installed 4 lights in the kitchen and 4 in the living room on dimmers. Great quality, no issue with installation and a great price. Have already recommended this to others and will continue to do so.
