This stool has held up for the past three years while being used as a shop stool. It has come in so handy with tasks such as detailing my motorcycle, working on projects and providing a place to sit when you want your feet on the ground. It rolls beautifully!

Excellent product! Have been using it daily for over three months, very plush for one's bottom, and rolls very well. Easy to assemble. Just a bit worried about cats scratching the seat. Would definitely buy again if need be.

Park Tools is a well respected brand in the world of bicycle maintenance and repairs. I have never been disappointed in any of their products, and this stool is no exception. It has a stable 5 wheeled base and is adjustable in height, so that you're comfortable, no matter what you are working on. The seat is comfortable and non directional - so you can sit on the seat no matter how the stool is positioned. Price is a little high for a stool, but the quality is worth the price if you will use it often. I have had the $50 stools and this one is of much higher quality. I use mine daily and I love it.

For the extra cost I would expect a good finish and decent wheels. As many others have shown, it comes out of the box pre scratched with no signs of distress on the packaging. The height adjustment range is ideal for working on bikes in a stand or on the ground. Padding is thick and firm and aids freedom of movement. The covering is resistant to grease and fluids.

Another purchaser's review sold me on this. He'd already tried plastic based cheaper stools and they'd broken on him. I needed this one for scooting around the kitchen when my knees give out. This stool arrived quickly, in perfect condition, easy to assemble and I love it. It's very sturdy and rolls smoothly and you get what you pay for. I'd recommend this to others in a heartbeat. If you are heavier build, as I am, this will easily support you. I love the adustable seat height. This is well made and does the job.

Excellent shop stool. Sturdier than expected, and the adjustable height is quite a bit higher than on my old mechanic's stool which is nice, but wimpy compared to this Park stool. Perfect for working on my bikes, or taking a break. Solid quality. The assembly is easy - takes less than 5 min. including un-packaging - no instructions required. The base is one solid unit with 5 arms welded to a center ring. There is nothing flimsy. Very comfy. Now my wife wants one for the kitchen.

I've purchased three of these. I bought the first after buying similar rolling stools, but not liking the squooshyness of the foam seats on the initial purchases. The Park Tool stool looked firm and it is. Almost too firm in the beginning after being seated for awhile, but that is appreciated after finding that you haven't sunk two or three inches into the seat after sitting for awhile also. If you need a bit of cushion, fold a fluffy towel into a square and that will help. It also adds a little height. The first is used as my office "chair" in a warehouse office. The stool zips around on the concrete floor, it makes me sit up straight, which is the reason I started using stools as work chairs in the first place, and the springy seat makes constant rising and sitting easier. No chair to sink into and have to push up from.I bought the second for basically the same reasons for home use where I sit for long periods working on digital photo processing. Once again, the emphasis on sitting up straight is important and this stool encourages that without a sinking feeling.Number three was just purchased for a gal at work who had tried different seating modes, including one of those ergonomic kneeling stools. I lent her my stool and within minutes she asked me to get one for her, and after using mine for a couple of days, she still liked it.Last, but not least, every one of these I have ordered arrived within 24 hours. I don't know where they ship from, but the shipping is free and super fast. I ordered #3 around 3:00 on Thursday AFTERNOON, and it arrived before the end of the work day on the following day. Each delivery has been like that.I'd agree a bit with the person who thought it should have more height. A couple more inches of adjustment would be nice, but I find I get those inches of height when I straighten my posture, which is the goal in the first place. It's sturdy, light, the seat doesn't seem like it's going to start caving for quite awhile. I recommend it and the vendor.

I bought this stool for my sewing room so I could easily shift from sewing machine to serger. This stool is awesome. You can sit on it for hours and not feel sore. Adjusted comfortably for my short legs. Smooth casters roll beautifully on cat hair infested hardwood floor. The look is nicely funky in a sewing room. This stool is sturdy and well made. An excellent buy.
