Writing a TEN year review. Have had this set for a decade since 2014 and it is still going strong with no issues. We have 4 boys and it is played for several months every spring and summer. Would not hesitate to recommend or buy again.

Pretty simple, it's a badminton net, looks to be very well made for the price. I set it up with two sturdy poles I had around the house and its doing its job. I'd recommend buying it over the kind that comes with poles.

I would give the net itself a 5 star review. It works great and is easy to set up. This is my second time purchasing this set after I left behind my first set in a move. The addition of the tensioning rings really helps give a nice tight net to play over. The net is a really well built prpduct. The rackets are terrible though and that's why I have given a lower review. I really wasn't expecting too much out of them. As I mentioned earlier I have baught the set before and as many mentioned the grips had to be re-wrapped fairly soon but they still worked for me after several years of sporadic usage. The most recent rackets are far worse though. The racket is loose and spinning in the handle after a single game. If you get this set plan on having different rackets from the get go because these didn't even last a whole session.

This is an awesome set, well constructed and easy to set up and take down. Quality product at a great price. Everything, the posts, rackets, even the stakes are made of quality material. Not your flimsy childhood set. We have played many hours, set up and taken down several times and received several compliments on our choice. None of that really matters to us, though we love a great deal and quality merchandise the real test was our grand children. The smiles, laughing, and genuine enjoyment they have playing, not to mention getting them outside and moving around, PRICELESS!!!

Got this set for my wife as a Christmas present because of all the good reviews. We put it up in the backyard this past weekend. Nice set! The rackets seem kind of "light weight" but they do their job of hitting the birdie back and forth very nicely. The poles, net, and rope all seem to be of very good quality. The instructions included kind of suck but my wife figured them out nonetheless. With the included anchors and the rope, you can get the net nice and tight!! We have now enjoyed a few games and definitely look forward to more outdoor fun!! ** Oh and thankfully the shuttlecocks provided with the kit are synthetic and not "real" feathers so no animals had to be harmed just for "our" enjoyment. Definitely an added plus. ; )

I was happy at how well made this was. Good solid poles, nice net and rackets seemed good. It has only been used once (by grandkids) but in all it appears that it will stand the test of time well. The only problem I had was with the boundary rope. The kids were already wacking the birdie and I was in a hurry to get it set up and the rope got all tangled up. I was surprised that it was all one continuous rectangle with four lengths of rope. At each of the four corners was a pin about 3 inches long with an eyelet at the top. Two pieces of rope were attached at the eyelet and the pin would go into the ground. Fine, but with my rope all tangled up, the only way I could untangle it was to disconnect one rope and spend 10 minutes. I would suggest that the manufacturer would have been better to put this item on a spool. Other than being quite windy that day, it was a big hit with the grandkids.

Very good product. Easy to assemble and use. Comes with a handy bag for storage.I was looking for exactly such a product for my yard for a nice game and practice and some workouts. The rackets are not great but you can very well use to play or use your own favorite one.The shuttle cork though made of plastic works pretty well and gets a decent flight. The best part is the assembly which is so easy. The net stands out firm and strong and you can adjust the tension easily. The set can also withstand sun and rain .. we had it on the yard for weeks before we got it packed when it started snowing

I've been playing badminton on the recreational level for many years, and some in college. I like the sport a lot, and I like good equipment too. I was looking to buy a quality badminton set that would allow for years of use, but I didn't want to spend a fortune either. This set actually has pretty decent rackets compared to a lot of other sets. Granted, they are not $150 pro rackets, but I haven't ever gotten the birdie "stuck" in any of the rackets yet and there is enough string tension in them to accomplish some fast spikes. I bought a couple extra Yonex rackets expecting that I would need them to replace this set's rackets as they wore out and broke. So far I have not needed them, and I've played many games with friends! If you are worried about a droopy net, fret not! There are two 3/8 inch ropes that attach to the top of each of the aluminum poles and are individually staked into the ground to set the net tension. I've had my net so tight there may have been a 1/2 inch difference between the center of the net and where it attaches to the pole. The birdies that come with the set are white and they work pretty well. They are not the best that I've played with, but they are durable and last for quite a while. Their white color makes them harder to see than the bright yellow/green that I'm used to playing with. If you don't like them, buy some quality birdies, they are not that expensive. The whole set comes in a zip-up black bag and everything fits inside just fine. I'm very glad that they chose to include this as it makes transporting the set very easy.Overall, I'm very happy with this set. The poles and net are very solid and will last for many years. If you are a VERY aggressive player you may want to buy a separate high quality racket. As for me, the rackets have held up with what I've asked them to do and I'm no slouch when it comes to hitting. I purchased some spare birdies for my set, but I'm still using the ones that came with the set originally. So if you can swing the money for this set and want something that will serve players of all types for years to come, go ahead and get this set!Poles: 5 out of 5Net: 4.5 out of 5Ropes: 5 out of 5Stakes: 4 out of 5Rackets: 4 out of 5Birdies: 3.5 out of 5Overall: 4 out of 5
