Our 95 paracord falls between 275 and micro cord. While it’s thicker than micro cord, it has the same breaking strength. Designed to be exceptionally lightweight and flexible, 95 parachute cord is a compact design for a broad range of situations and functions. The product was excellent for my wind chimes which are quite large. We live on a windy hill and the tubes were all blown off. This string is very strong and only time will tell.

Strong stuff. I used it to wrap the handles on a pair of sai for Okinawan kobudo practice, and it feels like it's going to be strong, durable stuff. It didn't burn or melt with friction from pulling the cord through the wrap, and I was able to maintain a good grip with a pair of pliers, without it snapping or fraying, while pulling.

I'm using this cord for some ultra-lite duty cord for suspension on a DIY backpacking hammock underquilt. I wanted something lighter than 550 that was still reasonably strong and would not fray, etc., and this was perfect. It is definitely smaller in diameter than 550, and it has a pretty tight outer weave. So it is not sloppy when you tie it. I was able to tie some prusik knots to make an adjustable positioned feature on my project. I also joined it to some larger diameter shock cord with a double fisherman's knot.If you need cord for a two-stoke engine pull as a recent 1-star reviewer did, then look elsewhere. This cord is great when used for a suitable application.

I just used some of this to restring my necklace and it fit the pony beads just fine.I also used a length of this as a lanyard for my leatherman blast.Ill definatly be orderin some more of this size in the near future to put in my bug out bag.Yes...Id recomend this size of paracord.
