I used some BSA hiking staffs as the core for a couple of hiking sticks for two relatives. Choosing proper stains they liked, gluing a big rubber foot on it, and a bit of sanding, I was ready to start. They chose the colors and I drilled two holes in the staff.I used the buckle to make an adjustable loop at the top. The paracord was great quality and they came out great. Sorry I can't find the pictures to show you how they came out.

I was a bit worried after reading the negative reviews, but they are from years ago. I have other cords I've ordered directly from Paracord Planet, and always been happy, so I ordered these. I am not disappointed! All the lengths are uniform and a minimum of 10'. Every color is included, as well as a variety of buckles in rainbow colors. An instruction sheet for the basics was included, and the plastic zip bag it comes in is sturdy enough to use for storing it all. I really love that they also melt the ends so you don't end up with up to an inch of unusable cord because the outer shell has receded. This kit includes:550 Type III Paracord in 10’ lengths in red, orange, yellow, turquoise, blue, purple, and three shades of rainbow. Also included are 3/8” plastic contoured buckles in red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, purple, black, white, and clear.

Good product, but take in consideration that the more colors you take the shorter the strings are.Quality is good.

I using this Cord was simple and I honestly preferred it when joining two pieces together, it was easy to pull the 7-strands out, cut and overlay it over the 2nd piece you want to join together. I made a handle for water-bottles/thermos, (etc) and it hasn’t broke, or ripped apart and it’s been used daily for a couple months.When choosing to do another smaller project, I will definitely look to see what Paracord Planet has to offer in their 550, type III line.Keep in mind when getting this, that if you have regular Paracord - it will take some work to piece that together with this one. The strands inside the Paracords I picked up at Home Depot & in a kit at Walmart, were both very different than this one! You may need to check the strength differences between 550, types I, II & III to understand the difference. This has a 7 strand cotton (I believe) inside that seems thinner but definitely lighter than Home Depot!I receive about (or slightly over) 100’ of Paracord in this package

Of all the 550 paracord I've bought, this has got to be the best quality by far.If you're looking for begleri cord, buy this right now. It doesn't fray along the sides and stays intact for far longer than any other paracord I've dealt with.Over all it's a bit pricey, but I got exactly what I paid for which is great.

Would be five stars but their not rolled up the way the picture shows. It's more like they layed them all together and then rolled it up, so getting one strand out without making a knotted mess of them all is difficult. Other than that the kit is fine and paracord seems good enough. It's my first time with paracord and it's thinner than what I expected. I watched a you tube video to do my first bracelet and kept starting and stopping so I did double loops from wrong side a few times. It still came out pretty cool, but word of advice be prepared to spend a half hour or so dedicated to this cobra bracelet project. Clasps seem good enough quality, which is something I was worried about, but their fine. Full ten foot pieces, enough for most size wrists. Just measure around wrist with string then measure string and then one foot per inch plus a half foot for safety. So my eight inch wrist was a eight and a half foot piece of paracord cut from ten foot piece. Colors are very nice and clean and bright, clip colors may vary from exactly what is shown. Bracelet takes time I guess to get used to wearing feels awfully scratchy and I don't like that, I'm hoping I get used to it though it looks so cool. Oh note some colors may be different than picture too, mine has two yellow one with yellow with black marking and white in it and one plain. Suppose that could be the fifth one but it doesn't look like it in real life. So beware you may not get what is pictured for all of them but pretty darn close and all the colors like I said are nice and cool looking. Bracelet making requires a lighter to singe ends so parents beware that you may need to help younger children and even older children may get burnt from hot paracord that was just burnt. Pretty safe the stuff doesn't flare up into a fire, just melts pretty much. I am going to buy a block kit to make these I think, it might help their like thirteen bucks and have measurements built right on it. I really like my new bracelet and recommend this as a new hobby skill to all that think paracord bracelets are cool but don't want to spend ten bucks on just one bracelet.

I received this product very quickly and it was packaged safely. Very impressed with the quality of this product! It's very lightweight and won't rot or mildew. Each hank comes in about 10ft sizes and can hold a minimum force of 550lb. Commercial grade parachute core, it has a core of seven inner strands surrounded by a nylon cover. I ordered the Rainbow set I believe, and my husband absolutely loves the high quality and durability of this Paracord, and the fact that it is made in the USA is even better. My husband and I really enjoy making survival bracelets together and there are so many you can make now just by watching YouTube. This kit is very nice and comes with free colorful brackets. We will definitely be buying more from Paracord Planet and would recommend them to anyone.
