The bowls themselves are great. The size is great & quality is good. My issue is that one set was completely out of the packing & it looked intentional. These are for food, so they need to be shipped properly.

These bowls handle boiling water as well as cold foods without getting soggy or unweildy. They do take a very long time to compost, even if torn into small pieces.

I like to make homemade salsa. I often go to potluck lunch for my church, potluck dinners for my family, game nights, and social events. Everyone wanting salsa has been great, but serving it has been a struggle... as people don't want their whole potluck or party plate filled with tomato juice, and I don't want to lug plastic and glass bowls everywhere and back. These are the perfect solution. Responsible. Sturdy. Just the right size. I highly recommend these for anyone who wants to serve special dips and sauces at similar events and meals. Not big enough for a cup of soup. Too big for a small portion of ketchup. But, perfect for eaters to use for taking a portion of salsa, cheese dips, cheese balls, small collection of fruit, etc. Highly recommend.

Unsuccessful at keeping cat food bowls really clean day to day led to buying disposable picnic bowls - much better for our two cats and our kitchen cleanliness, but I felt increasingly guilty about using non-recyclable bowls 4x a day. I found the larger version of the Groecycle bowls at local coops - sturdy, recyclable, but larger than the cats liked. I am delighted to be able to subscribe to the (cat approved) 6 oz version from Amazon. Happy cats, happy household!
