Yes paper lanterns can rip but these were quickly ripping than others I had that day with another company. Also the pattern where off…. Not line if up where they should have making the design mess looking.

Easy to put together. Packaging has each individual lantern by itself which is actually nice because nothing grabs. There is a hook inside the lantern where you can put a mini led that has a opening on it if you'd like to light them up.
