Before first use, I HIGHLY recomend applying drops of superglue over the tiny screw that hole the anbils and blade in place. I now own 6 pairs with enough parts to keep 3 working. I tried ordering replacement parts before but was confronted with a 7 month wait time. Fully assembled, this tool is reliable and essential.

For terminating Panduit's Minicom data jacks as easily as possible, this is the ticket. One side of the tool cuts all 8 wires flush with one easy squeeze, and then simply flip the tool over to snap the jack together and complete the termination. If you are doing a handful of jacks, stick to the little green tool included with each box of Minicoms and some flush cut snips. But if you have a large volume of jacks to terminate and/or you do this for a living, this tool makes the job easier.
