These diapers work best for our newborn. Perfect fit and size, leakproof and doesn’t soak through to clothes. Blue line reliably shows up when diaper is wet. Highly recommend!

Great, does what it needs to for a newborn. I had no issues, no leaks, and the diaper itself feels soft to touch on the inside. So I felt comfortable letting my newborn wear these.

Let's go way back - when I was pregnant over 13 months ago, I had literally no idea what to buy for my first baby. What bottles should I use? What size clothes will they need - and how long will they be in that size? Will she want a pacifier? Will the swing make her cry? Do I need a diaper genie? I had nothing but questions! The only thing I knew for sure, is that my baby would start her life in Pampers Swaddlers. They have the best reviews for newborns, they are soft like fabric, and they are pretty much the #1 used diaper by alllll the newborn parents I know. So, I bought stock in them and I registered for them. I received box after box after box of Pampers Swaddlers, sized NB, 1, and 3 (oddly no 2's so that's what I buy for all my expectant friends). Once our daughter had made her way into the 3s, my husband (the best dad in the world, but oh so cheap) suggested we give some cheaper diapers a chance. We went to Kroger brand and fought a full booty rash for the next 3 days. We switched to Huggies, which were great - if you liked changing pee-soaked clothes a few times a day. Then we went to Pamper's Cruisers, which I didn't hate - they just were not as soft as the Swaddlers and therefore resulted in more chapped skin and issues. Our attempt to go cheap had left us with stacks of unusable diapers and a healthy supply of every diaper cream we could find (how much zinc is too much zinc). We went back to the Swaddlers happily even though they are more expensive than other options. We are the ONLY ones in our daycare that still use them, and trust me- we aren't rich. They are in diapers for such a short period of time and it's my job to take away any pains, discomfort, or irritation that I can for that time frame. She will have a lifetime of uncomfortable underwear to look forward to - might as well give her the good stuff for a while.Pampers used to only take the Swaddlers line up to size 3 - I am glad they extended it. It is well worth the wetness/blowout protection and comfort.

I like these. I always used the Huggies Pure and Natural until they discontinued them (ARGH!!!). I switched to Little Snugglers, which are just meh. They are ok but seem so small for the size 2.I decided I'd try these, although I've been a loyal huggies customer with my two year old his whole life and currently am using Little Movers for him, again because the Huggies natural are discontinued...but they are also meh. Major diaper butt issues, otherwise ok.Anyway, the difference is these are not as puffy on the baby (size 2) when full, have a good baby poop catch on the sides. They have netting inside, not sure if I like that but don't NOT like it. :). They are stretchier and roomier in the size 2 than the Huggies Snugglers, I like that a lot. They have a pretty strong baby powder smell, it's not bad I guess but smells unnatural (not that the Snugglers smell better, they smell like nothing unless you stiff them super close new, then they smell kind of chlorine-y or just chemically. Anyways - kind of lose lose if you want something more natural but I haven't been able to find a natural diaper that doesn't suck...so here we are. Hope that helps.

My daughter is almost 6 months old and since she was born, I've had the opportunity to try hundreds of brand-name diapers that were given to me at my diaper party. These diapers ranged from Huggies, Pampers, and Luvs. Within the Huggies & Pampers line, I had different "models" at my disposal, such as Pampers Swaddlers & Pampers Baby Dry as well as Huggies Little Snugglers, Huggies Snug & Dry, and even Huggies Snug & Dry Plus. However now that I've run out of those, I am now purchasing my own diapers. Based on my experiences, Pampers Swaddlers are ***THE BEST*** diaper I've used thus far. And because of that, I will never go back to any other diaper. I've literally given my unused packages/boxes of Huggies diapers to local charities for those in need. The reason I love Pampers Swaddlers is that they are the *ONLY* diaper that does not leak. The fit absolutely perfect and I've never had an issue with them. EVER! However, this is not to say that all Pampers diapers are good. I've tried Pampers Baby Dry, which is a more economical version of their diaper, and that diaper does not come close to the performance of the Swaddlers line. Baby Dry would would leak and/or sag to cause more leakage. The Huggies brands however, are even worse. I can't tell you how many times my daughter's daycare had to change her clothes due to constant leakage of the diaper (EVEN WITH 2 hour change intervals). Huggies is simply garbage because it soaks up literally nothing. I'm left to wonder if various boxes of the Huggies diapers I've used even has any sodium polyacrylate in them. FYI, sodium polyacrylate is the "super absorbent polymer" that absorbs moisture in all brands of diapers. While Pampers Swaddlers would "bulge up" and absorb my daughter's urine, the Huggies line never bulged up. Meaning they never absorbed anything. Leading to the urine-soaked clothes that my daughter experienced every day.The color-changing wetness indicator is a nice touch. The equivalent brand version of Huggies that has this is the Little Snugglers. But just as I mentioned in the previous paragraph, it leaked and never seemed to fit right on my baby. Although I'd pull them up as high as they could go, there seemed to be a huge "pocket" around my baby's bottom, which would be one of the reasons for the sag/leakage.Another reason I like the Pampers Swaddlers is their shape allows for a snug fitment. Pampers is the only diaper with "tags" on both ends to provide a 360 degree full fitment around the waist. No other brand of diaper I've seen does this. The Pampers Swaddlers line goes all the way up to size 5. I'm glad because it's the only diaper that I trust. So I'll be buying these until my daughter grows out of them. I stand by my review 100% and have NEVER been disappointed by the Swaddlers line.
