IT IS CARDBOARD. "It's (5mm mdf)". That sounds like something cardboard would say. That would explain the price point. Don't put wet brushes or it will swell. Not worth time and energy to return. Maybe use as a template for a wood or plastic build.

This brush holder by Procale is so precisely made. Quality is amazing. It literally lines up seamlessly, all parts "snap" in place without needing a mallet or blood pressure cuff! It does need to be glued (wood glue not included), but you'd almost think it would be fine without the glue. I had to look at the other products made by this company which is in Spain. Don't hesitate. I
