This is inexpensive protection for an electric fan and a vehicle's wire harness. Provides constant voltage, protects from voltage and amperage spikes and prevents the fan from back feeding voltage through the vehicle's wire harness. This kit includes: Weatherproof SPST 35-amp relay, weatherproof 30-amp circuit breaker, thermostatic switch (185 degrees on/175 degrees off) with thread size: 3/8"-18NPT, 1/2" NPT to 3/8" NPT adapter, weatherproof relay base with harness (6' input, 2' output), weatherproof heat-shrinkable crimp-on terminals and mounting hardware.

Package comes with all wire connectors and the quality of the item is noticeable. Used it to add an electric fan in 67 C10. Cycles on and off at the set temperature points. Would definitely purchase again if needed.

The only issue I had with this wiring harness was the wires were too short. I had to extend the Fan power wire, and ignition source wire by a few feet. I’m sure it’s just my particular situation. I have a 2015 GMC 2500HD. These trucks have a huge engine compartment, and I wasn’t able to install my new Transmission cooler in the stock location due to an aftermarket bumper. Otherwise it’s a Perfect kit for installing an Aftermarket Transmission cooler.

I cant complain about this kit. Enough length on wires to run to the battery and thermostat. Comes with wire terminals and make installation straight forward, even has a picture explaining every wire and where it goes connected to. Just installed this weekend, will update later if it stops working.

I used this kit to replace one I had pieced together for a project car. Having already built the basic setup I can appreciate the value of this system. Very easy to wire, all wires are marked on the wire as to its use. Especially like how weatherproof the relay and holder are in this kit. Temp values on the switch are better than most as well. I like that it comes on at 185 and not higher. Car runs nice and cool so far! Definite advantage to Made is USA products.

Very impressed with the quality and attention to detail with this kit. Each individual wire is labeled every foot or so, telling you which wire goes where... Makes this installation a breeze for even a novice.I opted to not use the circuit breaker since I have an existing fuse panel setup in my truck, but it is a nice touch. Find a spot for the relay (I snuck it in between the headlight and radiator on the inside of the core support), mock it in with the included hardware, cut wires to length and remove it all. Add a ground wire for the fan to run back to the fuse panel, add FR wire loom, head shrink it all and back in the truck it goes. Now just need to install the fan, but pretty painless so far.
