Product Description

kayak

Kayaking is an incredible way to connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you're gliding along a serene lake, exploring winding rivers, or navigating through coastal waters, there's something uniquely tranquil and exhilarating about paddling through the water in a kayak.

A paddle leash is a vital piece of equipment for kayakers, canoeists, and paddleboarders to keep their paddle from floating away if it accidentally falls into the water.

Rough Waters

Rough Waters

In choppy or rough water conditions, there's a higher chance of losing grip on your paddle due to the force of the waves. A leash ensures your paddle stays with you even if it slips out of your hands.

Rescues

Rescues

In the event of a capsize or a rescue situation, having a paddle leash ensures that both you and your paddle stay together, making it easier for others to assist you or retrieve your equipment.

Solo Paddling

Long Distances

During long paddling trips or expeditions, fatigue can set in, increasing the likelihood of accidentally dropping your paddle. A leash provides added security over extended periods on the water.

It works fine. It doesn’t interfere with my paddling, but it makes me feel safe that if I were to drop it, I wouldn’t lose it.

I ordered a pack of these to secure fishing rods and a paddle in my kayak. I liked them so much that I bought three more packs to use on my big boat to secure rods there when traveling for offshore fishing. Awesome quality and value!

I will NOT operate a kayak without a paddle leash. This pair works without fail. The velcro wraps tightly around the center of the paddle & the carabiner snaps on & off any handy eyelet or tie-point on the kayak. Regardless of how careless your ‘yakers may be, the paddle will not get away.Would buy again!

Product provided in a triple pack - and so i have a spare. It's easy to use and stays where it's put on the paddle shaft

These are great. Perfect for my needs. I got these for a kayak adventure, and they worked very well. The one I used for my paddle was very light and comfortable. I didn’t ever lose my paddle, so I don’t know how they would hold up, but they seem to be strong enough, and I felt they would do the job. I used the two extra leashes for other items, to attach them to the kayak, in case they fell off. I felt like I was well prepared, and was glad that I bought these. I liked that they were not so big and bulky, like some others that I saw on the lake. Would recommend to others.

My family and I are kayakers and have been for years. Not long ago we capsized in some white water and nearly lost our kayaks, paddles and gear. We couldn't save it all so we went for the highest cost items (our kayaks) and watched helplessly as our paddles floated downstream. Fellow kayakers retrieved our paddles for us and, in that moment, we learned that paddle leashes would have been really smart because being in a kayak without a paddle isn't going to get you anywhere except in trouble. These leashes are exactly what we needed. The material is very strong but not at all bulky, and it's quick drying. The leash is plenty long--about 5 feet when the bungee-like material is stretched out, but just about 3 feet when not pulled taut. The best thing is the gel-like facing that helps hold the grip in place on the paddle so that it doesn't slip back and forth. A totally-adequate carabiner is also provided so that you can attach the other end of the paddle leash to your watercraft, yourself, or elsewhere. (And as others suggested, these leashes are great for securing your gear too.) The price can't be beat--and that's for THREE! One will go to my niece who recently got the bug for kayaking.
