It looks a bit more gray than I expected, but it says in description "newsprint" and it's the color of a newspaper, so that's accurate. I like how it looks with my room color scheme, so that worked out well for me. Backing bends easily, so when handling it, it requires some caution to not bend it too much where it would crease the pad, but hung on 2 nails it is quite sturdy. Pages are thin, but I find their thickness sufficient for me. The 2 holes are about 1" off center, but that's a minor detail, not noticeable. The only issue is how it came packaged. It was loose within a cardboard box that was about 20% larger than the pad, so I was lucky that the delivery person didn't handle it rough or it would have gotten damaged. They need to do a better job securing it in the box for shipment. But overall I'm very satisfied. I will use it for an all-time-to-do-list.
