Relay failed within 24 hours of installation. Was using for integrating humidifier with nest thermostat. Failed with switch closed which caused the solenoid to be powered up and run water all day. Returned faulty part. Seller refunded $1. What a joke.

Allowed me to make an easy installation to control a duct booster fan using a low 28 volt voltage control, bringing full 120volt power to the fan when the system demands it.

This relay worked well for my attic ventilation system. Its pushing a powerful Vortex VTX1200 (350W) fan without a highcup. Even after I blew a capacitor on the motor, the relay had no problem handling the larger load. I do not hear a hum while operating, only a slight click when initiating. This was used in a stand alone installation, and not inside equipment. To keep in the clear for code, I was able to install this in a double deep box metal 'handy' box. A 1/8" rivet worked nicely with the mounting bracket. However, care is needed to ensure clearance to mounting hardware. I would suggest a 4" or larger box if starting from scratch and highly recommend using a deep box to provide clearance for the top wire connections. Standard push on connectors provided a snug fit.

How does one write a review for a relay? The part is well made, works as designed, and was inexpensive to purchase. No complaints. We live in a rural area, and our local HVAC parts supplier was out of stock for this relay. Went on Amazon, found this one at a good price, ordered it, paid with Pay Pal, and three days later the relay arrived. What more can one ask for?

The device works as expected. I did also note a slight buzz but it was the back plate vibrating a bit against the plastic body. I dab of silicone did the job.

Run 24 volts to this relay and turn line voltage on and off very simply. Works very reliably so far.

Used as a replacement on my furnace been running a month now, works fine.Only issue is sometimes it makes a buzzing sound, I thought it was failingbut just seams to be normal for this relay.I recommend it unless it is used in a location where the buzzing can be heardas that might become annoying.

Received very quickly. Used this relay to control an inductor fan using the 24 volts from my thermostat. When the fan kicks on it automatically kicks the relay and turns on the inductor fan, which I purchased on Amazon as well. The connections are clearly marked, beware that if you want to turn something on then you need a normally open relay and if you want to turn something off then you need a normally closed. Well this was my case anyhow. The relay is working at the moment and seems to be working well
