I am a technician, taking the Cricut Maker apart was easy for me. I questioned these wheels that looked smaller in diameter than my original and have more or plastic type feel. I heated the wheels to precisely 170 degrees, put them on and reassembled my Cricut Maker. The wheels did not grip the mat. new wheels had no grip. The new rollers were impossible to get back off the shaft after install, had to be cut off. Now I am waiting for a new set of rollers from another supplier that appear to be more of a rubber design like the original.

I shopped around and this product was exactly what I was looking for and the price was great. I installed them just like the directions stated and my Cricut works perfect now. The price was great.

Saved me a few hundred bucks buying a new Cricut and work perfectly. Nice, snug fit and good quality material, maybe even better than the originals. Definitely a faff to replace them but that's on Cricut, not this roller supplier! Would buy again.

Yes, YouTube video is awesome, but this endeavor is very tedious. You have got to have patience and tools to get into tight spots. Check your tools BEFORE you even set your mind to take on this project. Don’t get me wrong, definitely worth it in the end, just know you need PATIENCE!! Love the quality of the rollers and I purchased the clips to place on both sides of the rubber roller. My machine is working like new again.

Worked well. Glad it came in a 4 pack as I was a bit rough with one and ruined it when I was replacing it so was happy to have a spare. Been using them for a couple months now without any issues.

I did get these on my Maker roller bar. Went an extra step. As opposed to putting them in hot water for a few minutes as the details state, I put them in a cup of water and put directly into the microwave. Between tests, they was in the microwave probably for around 10 minutes total with a couple of tests making it to boiling water that ended up all over my microwave. But with tenacity, patience and pliers, they finally went on the roller bar. After hours of working on the Cricut (more time putting back together), I gave it a test run and it works just like it always has. Now I just need to calibrate and on to the next project. It wasn't easy getting the rollers on but they fit perfect once they are on and I do not see them getting mushy and moving around ever! Do not attempt to replace the rubber rollers if you do not have tenacity, patience and the right tools. Good luck.

These seem like they're going to hold up. They're a much harder material than the originals. They fit perfectly. Installing them was quite challenging though. Luckily there are multiple YT videos with people doing it but it takes patience. You've got to take a lot of the unit apart pretty much. There is a gear that you can't remove to get to the roller bar but you have to remove a C-ring on the bar behind the gear. It is a delicate thing to do without losing the ring inside of the machine and having to disassemble further.You need specific tools to do this job. Torx T2 screw driver. a TINY phillips screw driver (I have a small ratcheting screwdriver which helped - Craftsman CMHT68008 is the one I used). Some pry tools for small electronics. I have a set from iFixit which had a lot of useful stuff in it plus the bits are magnetized so pieces that I detached just stuck right to it and didn't fall into the machine. I also found that a small metal tube or hole was necessary to drive the wheels onto the bar. Doing it by hand was never gonna happen. But I found a hole that was bigger than the bar yet smaller than the wheel so I could drive the wheel on. Then it slid into place nicely. Follow their instructions heating them up in water first.Reassembly is just as delicate. Remember where all your pieces came from! Don't drop them further into the machine by accident. The housing unit needs to be situated just right. There are some channels on the backside that can be easily missed if you don't slide the housing into them.A lot of what I mentioned isn't in the videos on YT. I had to discover for myself. But as for the product itself, they feel solid and I believe they'll last. I ran a job on them immediately after I installed them and it ran the job great. No complaints.Good luck!

If your rubber Cricut wheels are falling apart and no longer helping guide your mat through the machine these will help! You’ll need to take the machine apart with the help of some YT videos but worth it!Thanks!
