Worked in my Meraki MS130. Synced to 10GB between to my NAS and my MacStudio. This is a residential deployment so not maxed out traffic but has held sync on two SFPs for several months now with no issues.

Works great to convert rj45 to sfp+! After hours of sustained use it’s warm, but can still be held on to!

Ran 10GB over 37m (121ft in alien) no problem. Solid build quality. The only reason why I won’t buy again is because it heats up to the point of burning your fingers, however to be fair that is a problem will basically most 10GB to RJ45 SFP Modules. Moving forward I will get DAC or Fiber runs. Other than that, it is a good item.

Great SFP and it does push 10Gig. As other have mentioned, this does get hot. Even with the heat, it still hits 10 Gig speeds reliably for over a year now. If it works it works, can't complain.

Broke after a few months, emailed them about warranty, they did not respond. DO NOT BUY IF YOU EXPECT A WARRANTY! The product itself is poor quality and failed very quickly, it doesn't even light up now if you plug it in.

I have used this in a mokerlink switch with 4 10g sfp+ ports.. worked great. Had to set the ports to 10gig in the web management. connected 3 of the mokerlinks together and also a netgear 8port switch with 2 10gig Ethernet ports.I have used them in Zyxel 12-Port Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Web Managed SwitchesI have two of the switches connected together at 10gig with sfp+, also a workstation with 10gig card connected into the second sfp+ port.I used on of these in a netgear nighthawk x10 r9000 router in the 10gig sfp+ port and connected it to one of the above zyxel switches in one of its 2.5 gig Ethernet ports. It is what is connecting my router to the LAN side. The zyxel switch reports it connected at 2.5gig. I have not tested performance though.I did not see the increase in performance from workstation to workstation I had hoped for but did see 2x to 2.5x speeds from the Cisco 1gig switches I had been using. went from 60-90 MB/s to 200 MB/s. I did not change out to better cables so maybe seeing some performance issues there.I have a Asustor NAS using a USB 3.1 2.5gig Ethernet adapter connected one of the USB 3.0 ports on it to one of the 2.5 gig ports on one of the the zyxel switches and though it runs a little faster than on the 1gig network its not much more. I am getting maybe 80 to 90 MB/s instead of 50 to 60 MB/s on average. I had been using a LAG with 4 1gig Ethernet ports on NAS to Cisco switch and this seems a bit faster overall. Was never impressed with the LAG.I was surprised this was able to connect at 2.5gig. Its listed 1 or 10gig and I just tried it because. So was happy it worked. So overall I would recommend this if you are using netgear routers with sfp+, mokerlink switches or zyxel switches with sfp+
