I got this to lay in the pack and play when my grandchildren come. It was pretty smooshed when I took it out of the package and did have a faint, chemical smell. I laid it out on a bed for several days, and the smell dissipated in a few hours and the mattress flattened out and puffed up fully by the second day. It fits well in the pack and play, with no areas where it bunches or has gaps. It has a zipper cover for easy cleaning and is not super thick and fluffy, which has disappointed some people. However, thick fluffy mattresses can be dangerous for small babies, and this is the perfect balance, adding a little comfort to the pack and play without presenting the danger of suffocation. In my opinion, the thickness is just right. My grandchildren seem fine with it, and my kids tell me they aren't so tossy and turny when sleeping in the pack and play with the new mattress. Overall, I would definitely purchase again.PROS - just the right thickness; fits well; no safety concerns; better sleep for the little ones; reasonable priceCONS - did have a slight smell and took some time to flatten out and puff up

This only expanded to 1 inch rather the 1.5 inches stated in the product listing. The other thing to note is that the cover seems to be a tad too small causing it to curve as it expanded leaving a gap between the bend and cover. I tried to capture it in a photo but It's hard to see because the air that fills the curve makes it look flat when it's not. In the photos of it expanded with a radio sitting in the middle, that radio isn't pushing the foam down, it's the air that fills the spot between the bend and cover. I haven't yet tried laying something heavy and flat on it to see if it'll straighten because I wanted to ensure it fully expanded, but now that it's been long enough, it's what I'll be doing next. I'll update if I'm able to correct it.Other than those two things, it's as described. It was competitively priced so if those things wouldn't impact the use of it for someone, it would be a good value for them.

Ok so it fit our pack n play perfectly, took about 2 hours to completely expand from it's compressed form. The colors and design are not the best as they show through whatever sheet you try and put on. That is the 2nd issue. We cannot get a sheet to work on this as it just won't lay flat with a sheet, curves the mattress into a bow , guessing because there is no solid base to keep it's shape. Ended up wrapping a weighted blanket around it.The mattress also has a section that bubbles up and won't go flat , even after 3 nights with a 32lb toddler. Thankfully we will only need this for a short time and it does help alot with relieving the hardness of the original pad. This would not be safe for a baby due to the issues above .

I didn't use it for the intended purpose. I needed a pad for a bench/chest that I made, and this was the perfect size. The pad is dense while thin, so it's comfortable to sit on without falling into the pad. Also super easy to get up since it's so tight.

The pad fit my playpen perfectly. I took a star off since it is a bit thin and the zipper on the cover does size completely across. I will have to use a waterproof sheet on top. Otherwise, this is a good addition for when my grandbabies come to visit.

We got this little pack n play mattress for our baby for a recent trip to visit family. My mom has a pack n play at her house, but she only has the small hard pad that comes with it and since our baby girl was going to be sleeping in the travel crib for several days of naps and at night of course, I wanted something a little softer and more comfortable for her.The mattress arrived at my mom's house quickly and puffed right up after unpackaging and unrolling it. Our baby slept comfortably and I definitely felt better since the pack n play with just the pad can also be quite noisy and stiff.

This is a nice and soft mat. The print is cute. The mat is not a trifold mat though despite the picture making it look like it might be. So it is not easy to store/pack if you are using this for travel.

While the mattress adds a thin layer of softness to the playard, I'm not sure how safe it is. The mattress we received had a huge air bubble in the center of it on the one side and we were unable to add a fitted sheet without it bunching the whole thing up so we had to leave it uncovered. Hopefully, it's just the one we got, because I can't recommend this mattress topper based on the one we have.
