This is a nice mattress for a playpen. I wanted something better for my granddaughter's visit to sleep on other than the hard piece that comes with it. This is everything I expected and a bit more.

I bought this to use in the playpen for my daughter to sleep in. It fits perfectly. It is super soft and not thin at all. I love that the cover comes off easily to clean. I have had this for a little over 2months and so far the quality has held up! I haven't noticed any smell on the foam, my daughter sleeps very well on here.

I ordered this to take on a trip because I knew my son would be sleeping in his playpen while we were in hotel rooms. It fit his graco pack n play perfectly and made it a lot comfier for him. He slept like a baby on it and I love that I can easily store this under his crib.
