I really liked the idea of a weather-resistant tube that was adjustable. I carry an extra part (zipper) for my ORU kayak in case one breaks while I am out on a trip. This fit the bill!

I am a bit disappointed in the carrying strap. The buckle that holds the strap fell off after only the second use of the tube. Not as durable as I expected it to be. Also the setting to lock the length of the tube slips. Disappointed.

I bought these to transport maps through the airport. When they first arrived they seemed sturdy and easy to use, however that is not the case once they are extended. The cases themselves are not made of rigid plastic so when opening them or extending them they cave in on themselves. Due their soft shell, they are not easy to open/close or extend. When extended they feel extremely cheap.I had quite a few maps to transport which is why I went with the 5” cases. When picking them up with the maps inside, the red zip tie broke making the strap useless. I wasn’t able to get it back on since it’s cut short. Since the sides are flimsy, when the strap broke and the case hit the floor, I then had maps everywhere after the case exploded.

I use this to store a commemorative baseball bat. The length can be expanded to o fit your item perfectly. The plastic is hard and offers a nice protective environment. I can imagine this would also be perfect for travel.
