I love the weighted vest! I chose the 12lb vest. It has affected my strength training for the positive. The smell when i unpackaged went away pretty fast.

It's heavy but distributes the weight well. Hard to do sit-ups with it on. Better for running/squats/pushups.

This vest is VERY heavy for a person to wear if they are light in weight!It was recommended that I purchase this 20 pounder to help with bone density issues. I could barely sling it around to put it on… and once wearing I developednhip and ankle pain immediately when walking.I had to return it ans speak to my physician about an alternate conservative treatment.The produce itself was very well made and returning it was easy.. no issues with the vendor.

it only has 1 strap I don't feel it needs 2 in this small size fits good under arms the 12 pound vest hung too low under arms and too heavy for me.this vest has NO smell like I've seen in reviews for other brands.

I purchased this weighted vest after I returned another vest that was too cumbersome. The other vest had the option of adjustable weights however it is way too large. This vest fit me perfectly (it has places you can adjust the straps) and is of good quality. I actually look forward to going on walks with it instead of dreading it.

I've gone through a few weighted vests and this one has the strangest fit. I'm 5' 10" slim female and this vest is much smaller/shorter in length than any other brand I've tried, but large in "width"/"depth". There's a lot of "bulk" (weight) in your armpits, which kinda gets in the way of movement. I can imagine chafing being a problem if you wear it with a sports bra like I often do.Positive:I'm allergic to latex/neoprene and most of these vests are neoprene. This one is not. Has a strong chemical smell, but it's not neoprene.12lbs seems like a good weight & quality is good.I really like the fabric compared to other non-neoprene ones I've used.

As a petite woman, I was initially concerned about finding a weighted vest that would fit comfortably. However, I'm delighted to report that this vest is a perfect fit! I've worn it with various clothing items, from tank tops to light jackets, and it remains comfortable throughout.I've used it for a variety of activities, including walks, workouts, and even while doing chores around the house. The adjustable straps are incredibly easy to use, ensuring a secure and customized fit. The vest also includes shoulder pads, although I haven't needed to use them yet.Overall, this is an excellent product that provides a noticeable boost to my workouts. I highly recommend it!

I bought this for different reasons than most. I have a neurological disorder where my eyes and ears disagree on which way is down which messes with my vision and sense of gravity. I purchased this at my physical therapist's suggestion to help remind my body which way is down and also to improve my posture which will aid my recovery. I got the 8 pound version and it fits well and is quite comfortable after some adjustment. It gets a little warm on hot days however, but is comfortable to wear for a long time. It does occasionally cut/chafe into the armpit area but remedies itself after a little adjustment. It took a while to figure out how it fits, but now that I know it's pretty simple. I would suspect however that this may not work well for the ladies, with both straps buckled, they cut in a bit on the lower pectorals. It's a good snug fit for me with just the top strap buckled, but that may not work well for those exercising with this or those with smaller bodies. The lower strap really pushes on my pecs, but the more I wear it the better it seems. The straps are adjustable, and sections are elastic to better form to the individual's body, but I really think the strap positions would be rough for most women. Overall it's pretty comfy and has helped me function a bit more. It can be a bit difficult to take off however. Since it rides so high and snug in the armpit, it's hard to grab and pull it over the shoulder to take off. It makes me feel like I have T-Rex arms and my right shoulder is a bit sore from an early attempt where I pulled something. I haven't yet used the arm weights, but they can likely help on my belly for diaphragm breathing which is also part of my rehabilitation program. There's also loops on the front of the vest where they could be attached for added weight. I feel it could have been cheaper, but it seems competitively priced, and I'd be surprised if others are as well made and comfortable as this is at this price point.
