This fixed the hyperflash issue when replacing halogen blinker bulbs with LED bulbs on my 2003 NB2 miata. So much better using ballast resistors! Worth it 100%

This relay is plug and play on my 2002 Mazda Miata. I replaced all my bulbs with LED bulbs and found that the turn signals were hyper flashing due to insufficient load for the OEM flasher relay. I was going to use load resistors but found this relay which was recommended on a forum. The hard part is locating the relay under the dash and connecting the new relay. I couldn't remove the old relay so I unplugged the connector and plugged the new one in then zip-tied it in place. It fixed the problem.

This fixed my hyperflash in a 2003 Mazda Miata when using Auxlight 1157 switchback leds up front and Auxlight 7440 amber leds in the back. Plug and play once I unplugged and wiggled the OEM relay out from under the steering column. Now, just hope that it lasts.

Used this on my 2002 Miata with Diode Dynamics LEDs and resulted in zero hyperflash. It's part of a perfect LED turn signal upgrade for a Miata without having to wire in resistors!

Perfect replacement for the old relay that had failed. Not very easy to install in the cramped space in a Miata but that's a function of the car, not the replacement relay. The fact that it was identical in size and structure to the old one made installation a bit less painful. There is a really easy way for a larger person to contort to get to the relay, but nobody knows what it is.

I have a 2001 Miata NB2 Base and wanted to replace all of the indicator bulbs with amber LED bulbs. Rather than fit resistors to the wires of each bulb, I went the 'replace the flasher unit' route. Had a titanic battle of wills to get the old unit off (finally managed it!), plugged this new one in and with the LED bulbs all around - worked perfectly - no hyperflash. Simple and easy plug in replacement. Delighted!

Replaced my oem flasher replay on a 2002 NB Miata and it works perfect. No need to mess with installing hyper flash resistors. I don't know why Youtubers have not noticed this simple fix.

Tried in a 2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata. The Pin placement looks the same, but the pins on the module are too wide to seat in the corresponding slots of the harness in the car. Have to return.
