I hoped I could use these to card sheared wool. they don't work,, but might be great for brushing large long fur dog.

We had always used curry combs on our horses and I bought this one to use on my beagle. I just go over him gently with it, and he LOVES it. He sees me with it in my hand and runs right over to me.

Good quality. My other black ones are still going after 15 years. But the green and blue are losing there Combs (knobs). Its black which they have done test on black manure forks and such and they outlast ones that are red or blue: colors

I really love these brushes. I have a skittish donkey that we rescued and she refused to let anyone touch her. She's slowly gaining our trust but when it came to brushing her she was very scared. These brushes are perfect for me because I can fit them in my pocket and use both hands to calm her once I've gotten ahold of her halter. Once she's calm and I've given her a treat, I can then pull the brush out of my pocket and brush her without startling her. My other donkey loves being brushed so every time he sees me with the brush he gets excited and runs up to me waiting for his turn. I like that the handle can be adjusted to size, especially for me because I do have small hands. They are very lightweight brushes and seem to go through my donkeys hair with ease especially after their dust bath.
