I have never used these before. Great for drawing lines or making measurement marks. Recommend a ruler for straight lines. Several different colors in pack and came bubble wrapped with a good case and padding inside. Latch on case is minimal and I have a hard time closing it tight, but it seems to do it's job ok, bc it stays closed.

Compramos estas tizas para poder marcar telas para su costura. Son lavables y se ven muy bien sobre la tela. Mi único problema es que son un poco frágiles, un par venían quebrados, pero fuera de eso cumplen su función para el precio que tienen.

This is the best chalk I’ve tried for quilt marking. Produces a fine, clean line. It is very fragile and you must handle it lightly. It arrived all intact with no broken pieces. I expect I will eventually break a piece, but I’ve marked several quilt tops without incident. Advice: Rotate the points of chalk as you mark to ensure they wear down evenly and the triangular shape is retained.

Some pieces came broken but that was fine. I found them easier to use when they are in half pieces. I think the only thing I did not care for is the draw line is not real thin but that is just my personal perf. Other than that these work very well. The color variety is great for the different shades of fabric I use. Like the little case to keep the chalk organized.

These are great I’ve tested many kinds some brands you have to draw a line so hard to get it to show upBUT NOT THESE THEY ARE EASY TO USE and give clear markings they are easy to break so don’t hold them too rough or slam them down on your work station or drop them because it will break but I’m ok with that

I used this, erasable pens by pilot, a more expensive tailors chalk, and two types of fabric pencils on a light tan fabric while making a shirt. The Erasable pens didn't transfer well but came out without a hassle, the other chalk was too light to see, one of the pencils didn't agree with soft fabric and the other stained my button hole blue. Despite how easy these things are to accidentally wipe off or transfer to other fabric, and it's tendency to break or chip of you look at it wrong this is by far the best fabric tracing tool I've tried yet

They’re thin. Thinner than I thought. So thin are they that I think I just cracked one with my mind whilst thinking of the word wafer. But that’s silly, it probably arrived precracked then broke when light hit it. Maybe my light bulbs aren’t soft enough for chalk this thin. I’m just sayin’, they are slight. Their thinness exceeds my expectations. But they do make fine lines if you can pick one up without compromising its structural integrity. I’m going to keep trying and give them a chance. Maybe they’re not as crumbly in a more humid climate. I don’t know but now they have me craving tea & sugar wafers. Toodles…

These 'chalks' are perfect for dressmaking.However, the thinness, so good for accurate markings, also make for an easily broken chalk.Box is excellent in protecting from breakage.

These are great for my sewing needs and washes out easily. However don’t drop them as they are thin and break easily! My work station gets crowded and sometimes the chalk falls to the floor so now I am making sure to place the chalk in a secure location after use lol
