Awesome fix to those cheap 4pin connectors. Will hold up for a long time.

This 4-pin coiled trailer wiring cable is straightforward and gets the job done. The coiled design works well, but be aware that temperature can affect the coil’s flexibility and pull. Depending on the weight and tension, you’ll need to ensure the connector stays securely in place. For my 1994 F-150, the plug stays in place with a retainer on the bumper. However, newer trucks with plastic or tin bumpers may require a different mounting solution. I’ve secured the cable to my trailer’s “A” frame and store it in a small weather-resistant box—no issues so far. This cable is a solid choice for anyone needing basic lighting for their trailer. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable and works as intended.

TheFatRancher is going to use this coiled quick disconnect to power a skid steer attachment actuator. The "Oyviny 4 Pin Trailer Wiring Coiled Cable 10.5 Feet Standard 4 Way Flat Coiled Trailer Wire, Stretchable 4 Pin Trailer Extension Coiled Wiring with PU Jacket Protected Color-Coded Pure Copper Wires" appears to have heavy duty insulation for retention of the coil effect.

This is very heavy duty. I just installed it. I have nothing to add about the longevity as it is new.
