Anything kitchen related I usually tend to go with AXO. The brand is so good and they make a really good product. I’ve always been annoyed with spoon rest because they kind of slide around, but this is durable and it holds the pot lid very well.

I recently gifted myself with a Staub dutch oven and specifically wanted a lid holder that can support this heavy piece. Even tho I love my current stainless steel spoon rest, this is the perfect 2-in-1 for me. I didn't realize how much I needed a lid holder! All this time, I've been setting down my cooking lids on limited space I could be using for something else! I immediately tested it with my HEAVY Staub lid...and I'm so impressed with how it doesn't tip over. It feels solid, folds down neatly, and has a rubber bottom to protect your surfaces and keep from slipping. Not the cheapest option but I'm a believer in investing a little more for things I know will be put to good use for a long, long time. Bravo (again) OXO!

Very handy product. I always struggled to figure our where to set the lid while cooking. I don't like just putting it on the counter as it can leave a mess. Plus, large lids take up valuable counter space. This solves that problem and provides a place for utensils. It's lightweight but sturdy enough for my 7 quart dutch oven lid. Great product. I just bought a second one. Oxo almost always delivers great products.

I have used the lid holder only once. It is a plus that this has it but I don't think it is really very useful except when you don't have much space where to put hot lids (and you are toast if you need to rest two lids). Otherwise, the spoon holder has enough space for two or three serving spoon, spatula, which is quite handy. It has a rubber/silicone antislipping base which works great and it can be washed easily by hand (although it is dishwasher safe). I definitely recommend.

What I like the pot lid pools the water in the stand. Good quality of the stainless steel. the downside the sharp edge on the bottom of the base, if you have a soft skin, it will scrape your skin. I still put 4 star instead of 3.

Works well. Holds a pan lid while cooking, I like the utensil area for my tongs and it cleans up easily. Another good OXO product.

The OXO spoon Rest and Lid holder is the best. No longer having to hold a hot lid or placing a dripping lid on the counter. I have a place for both the lid and a cooking utensil to rest without making a mess. And, yes, the lid holder does hold up even on the heaviest lids. Loved it so much, I bought another one. I highly recommend.

The lid holder holds lids well, even for heavy cast iron lid. It won’t topple over. The lid holder can be folded down when not in use. The spoon rest area is ample for more than 1 spatula.

I have used the silicone spoon rests in the past and had no issues with them. In fact, I wanted to replace some and had them in my cart, till I saw this - thank God for Amazon's recommendations.Initially I thought, $20+ bucks for a spoon rest? Why? I can always get something from T to the Maxx or use a disposable plate. I read the reviews (thankful to those who leave helpful feedback) and was sold on the customer who showed it could hold their Le Creuset lid.So I ordered it and tested it asap. Let me tell you, so far there are NO cons.1. It takes heavy pot lids (see picture). I am sure that pot weighs more than some humans (joke)2. Did not wobble at all during the entire cooking process. You know how you can be unsure about something and keep checking, hoping to activate superman/superwoman, it case it comes tumbling down.3. I love the little drip tray where the lid sits, so that drains steam, and does not spill onto the counter4. I love that it has a spoon rest (of course, that was the main reason I bought it) that can take maybe 2 spoons (ok...stretching it)5. I love that it is dishwasher safe. Who has time to clean the nooks and crannies of this thing?6. I love that it has a silicone base, so it will not scratch your counter.You can obviously tell, with these many points of mine, that this is a LOVE and a must have.

I bought this to replace another spoon rest/lid stand combo that I used to have on my stovetop between the burners. The old one was plastic and had blistered from the heat, and then cracked. I bought this one because it appeared to be more heat safe. So far, so good. It is definitely heat safe when placed my coil-top electric stove between the burners. I cannot say how it would be on other types of stoves. You should never place it directly on any source of heat. The spoon rest portion is roomy and I placed a whisk and ladle side by side with no difficulty. I have used various lids, which all stayed well with no tipping, even with a very large, heavy one. I have been handwashing it, and it is easy to clean. Happy with my purchase.

It does hold a 10 litre pot lid without any problem. Only issue is the sharp edge of the stainless steel base. IAs a precaution I just file the sharp edge to blur it.
