This product is well made for mashing and is quick to wash.While it mentions potatoes, I find it works very quickly on making guacamole. The round masher is about four inches wide, so make sure to mash on a flat surface or a large bowl.

This potato masher is quite nice for several reasons.First, the manufacturing seems top notch. It's quite sturdy and doesn't seem as though it will be easy to bend without using much more force than is necessary for mashing potatoes.Second, the design is quite nice. The horizontal handle provides a more natural method of holding the utensil. This makes it much easier to use than standard vertical handled mashers. The holes seem to be appropriately spaced and the right size as well. It looks very similar to coarsely ricing the potatoes when they "squeeze" through the holes.Third, I wash it in the top rack of my dishwasher which means washing is easy. I haven't noticed any discoloration yet, but it is possible with time the handle will fade. Not something I'm worried about though.The only drawback to a horizontal masher is storage. A vertical masher is easier to put in a drawer or utensil holder. This is a very minor drawback though and obvious when looking at the masher. I wouldn't recommend getting a folding horizontal masher instead of this one though. That would just introduce an additional fail point.

Pleasure to use, saves time and it mashes beautifully. No chasing small pieces or worrying about texture. It actually textures really well. Something to also consider is that the shape espouses your round pot so it will mash all the way to the edge. If you have ever used wire type mashers you know what I mean. You don’t need to stop and stir the pot, you do that as you mash. Lastly, it’s easy to clean and is strong and durable. Mash away!

Seems to have much more control and power using this than traditional masher. Only time will tell if the flat part will bend. Otherwise looks solid and feels good in your hands.

Me gusta el mango de agarre suave y que la posición de la muñeca que tienes que usar con él es más natural que con otros pasapurés. Facilita su uso. No hay soldaduras visibles en la parte metálica, lo que significa que no tiene puntos débiles que puedan romperse, y no se queda comida atrapada en ningún sitio, por lo que es fácil de limpiar. This is a very nice potato masher--or a masher for other soft foods. It does a nice, complete job,is easy to hold and it washes up nicely. I like it better than my "old fashioned" potato masher.

マッシュポテトが大好きなので、購入しました。たくさんのポテトがあっと言う間につぶれてラクチンです。値段は高いような気もしますが、洗いやすいし、長持ちしそうなのでOKです。次はかぼちゃパイを作るのに利用したいと考えています。
