A nut cracker is a nut cracker, right? Wrong! This thing gives you the ability to grip the shell firmly and apply steady pressure sufficient to crack the shell without shattering it and scattering pieces everywhere. It makes the experience much better when you get the contents of the nut in large pieces rather than mushed bits.

Bought this for cracking walnuts, but it doesn't do a very good job of it. The grooves are a little bit too narrow to get a good grip on a walnut, but it would certainly work on shellfish or smaller nuts. The handles are more comfortable than similar nutcrackers.

Purtroppo ho dovuto fare il reso in quanto era troppo piccolo e leggero. Solo a guardarlo si smonta da solo. Ne sconsiglio l’acquisto.

Using this to crack nuts. It works great for all nuts I have tried, including almonds and brazil nuts. It's very well made and sturdy with a good grip. I also like that it's not too big so it looks quite classy and minimalist. I am annoying my spouse by telling them frequently how satisfying I find cracking nuts with this cracker, so I had to write a review instead.

I've had and tossed many cheap nut crackers that hurt my hand to use and fell apart quickly. This one feels good in my hand, is made of good quality material and cracks hard shelled nuts easily. It's a win win for me. I hope it will continue to function well and lasts for years.
