The mop pad is great and the vecro that fastens it to the mop is superior to others. Much better design than tucking in corners like a Swiffer mop. The irrirating thing is the way it separates the handle from the mop head. It is supposed to come off only if I step on a pedal but it separates while I am mopping. I also find that as I mop pushing forward is fine but when I pull backwards to get ready for my next forward mopping motion it flips the mop head over to the underside. I'm afraid it will scratch my wooden floors. I love the mop head surface because it really does clean the floor better than a less textured microfiber cloth head. It is a dream to rinse clean, wash in a laundry bag, and replace using the velcro. The microfiber mop head dries quickly (I hang mine with a snap hanger in front of a box fan I keep turned on in the laundry room to circulate air into my front load washing machine). It is heavy duty and durable, but that makes it heavier than I like cosidering arthritis in my hands and spine. The spray qualty is good, but squeezing the sprayer repetively is not ergonomic. It is easy to store if I separate the mop head from the handle. The price is a little high considering I do not need it to be made of such heavy materials. Lighten it up and improve the ergonomics please. I also wonder why it flips the mop head over when I pull backwards while mopping. Maybe that part of the mop is unbalanced? Being unbalanced miight add to my difficulty maneuvering it. Niot sure why it happens, but OXO ciostantly improves products - so please work on figuring this out.

I absolutely LOVE this mop. Great for fast and easy cleanups. The microfiber scrubber easily comes off but as for the reusable bottle that is a bit tricky to take out to refill. With that being said, this is the third one I have purchased because I have broken the part that attaches to reusable bottle.

First of all, there’s no assembly required. My only complaint is that the mop head arrives enclosed in one of those plastic clamshells that are difficult to open. There’s a scrubber that’s embedded in the mop head that’s simple to release and reinsert, for dirt that requires some elbow grease. And the one piece mop pole is strong enough to handle any pressure you put on the scrubber. And the mop pad is machine washable. The sprayer is trigger activated (no batteries) and easy to work. One thing I discovered is the spray angle is dependent on the angle of the mop pole. So, if you don’t want to spray your cabinets, you need to angle the pole more upright when spraying. The OXO mop doesn’t come with A liquid soap. You can use whatever you like, including plain water. There is a suggestion for a water/vinegar/essential oil solution. I don’t have any essential oils, but the vinegar portion is pretty small and I didn’t notice any lingering vinegar smell.My hard surface floors are all Travertine, and after mopping I noticed they appeared a bit dull looking. This is not the fault of the mob, I just need to find a solution that will leave the floors with a little bit more shine.Update: I found a nice cleaning formula here on Amazon called Fabuloso that’s super concentrated. I chose the Watermelon scent.

spent a little money on this but works really good. I have been using it for a couple months now and it is easy to wash the pad for the mop and it stores really well. If your floors are like mine and can not have steam on them this is a good alternative for that.

This replaced a Swiffer, which worked fine, but our kids LOVE their Oxo mop, so we tried it, in order to not have to buy the refill bottles or the velcro pads. And now we LOVE the Oxo - it is more economical to wash the pads with a load of towels, and to make your own solution. I think the OXO even works better since the pad is fabric, not paper-y.

Wonderful invention. So much easier than a mop and pail. The little scrubbing part actually works well and is very useful. Easy to pull out and get rid of odd marks. Brilliant.

Nunca había utilizado una fregona de este tipo, pero debido a un problema de artritis en las manos, me cuesta muchísimo la acción de escurrir, de manejar cubos de agua, etc. por lo que me puse a mirar otras opciones. Elegí la marca Oxo porque tengo varios productos de la marca y tienen una calidad impresionante. Y no me arrepiento, es una verdadera maravilla, nunca he tenido el suelo tan limpio , lo deja sin ningún tipo de ralla, seca súper rápido, no gasta casi detergente y es mucho más higiénico que fregar con un cubo de agua que al final se pone sucia y acabas fregando con agua sucia.La recomiendo totalmente.

What a cleverly and carefully designed mop. Best on the market. They must have patents on this as don't think its been copied.DID NOT BEND BACK ONCE IN USING THIS GEM ON A FILTHY FLOOR WITH ENCRUSTED DRIED ON DIRT. PROS:1. The mop heads are sturdy and either padded or foam filled, but not too thick so can fit under tight spaces. Also are a little smaller than base so can give good softer clean along edges.2. Mop heads fix to base by simply throwing head on floor with cleaning side on floor, then place base onto mop head.3. Light plastic liquid container is easily removed, filled, returned. How great to avoid those noxious prefilled pads.4. Floor needed some dried on sticky stuff removed. With gentle foot tap of a lever scrubbing pad slipped out. Sprayed are with cleaning liquid and scrubbed. After use scrubber is easily slipped back into its housing and hidden away.5. Mopped floor, spraying areas with cleaning liquid when needed. Peeled off mop head and attached clean one, mopping up with clean water as desired. Mop heads I thow in washing machine. They cost about same as about a dozen disposal wipe. sSeems most friends don't bother with the pure water mop but I'm lazy and think the water clean off of any residual detergent results in extension of time between mops. I go days without mopping... Well more than days sometimes, dirty me.I am so happy to have found this gem that does away with both the need for those wipes that all give off sents that irritate my lungs a nd also the need for a bucket and mop.. Even a bucket with wringing/centrifuging action is a lot of work/storage. And spray mops with the water in their poles are not as well weighted.CONS: None I can see or think of., I'll amend here if any come upI paid full price for mop and spare head and scrubber. Now I've used can see the spares are not necessary.I have no connection with this company. JUST LOVE TO SEE GOOD THINKING DESIGN. THANKS OXO.

I was very excited to get this mop because I've been very pleased with OXO products in the past. While this mop is convenient, I found it very tiring on my hands and arms. Even when my hard floor surfaces were wet very well with the cleaning solution of my choice, it still took much effort on my part to move the mop. It seems that the handle needs to be designed differently in order to make it less tiring on arms/hands when applying pressure to scrub/clean wet surfaces. I'm not quite sure how else to explain it other than for me to clean the floor- especially where it needs a little more attention- I have to press down to create more friction. It can't be done properly by just pressing down on the white handle- I would have to lean over and use both hands/arms to clean. Also, the handle comes apart from the base (which it's supposed to do when the release button is depressed) much too easily. There were times when I was using the mop to try to clean, and the base would slide off without me touching the release lever. I am going back to a traditional rag mop- I was able to clean more easily with that method.
