These worked 1st time. Bought another type at same time to compare, and was disappointed with those. Fit loose, kept falling out. These were snug like factory, very bright, made back up cam look like daylight! Exactly what I needed!

7440 Amber LED Indicator/Signal light with Load Resister. NO HyperFlash! NO Error messages!Vehicle: Lexus RX450hA few years ago I replaced some OEM halogen exterior tail lights with LEDs and have had excellent results. LEDs are clear, bright 6000K White light, low energy, low heat, & I've had no problems. I decided to upgrade ALL the original yellow halogen interior and exterior lights with bright, high Lumens LEDs.*Remember to wear gloves handling halogen, LED lights. It keeps lights clean & prolongs the life of lights. The Owner's Manual lists vehicle light bulb size/strength, & replacement instructions with diagrams and pictures. Replacement pretty straightforward and DIY.*If you have trouble, I recommend you Google vehicle make/model & find a YouTube instruction video. YouTube vids can be very helpful. The lights worked nicely. They're very bright & clear. Excellent! No Hyper Flash! No Error messages! No need to install any Load Resistor!*FYI- An upgrade from halogen to LED indicator/signal lights may encounter a minor electrical compatibility issue, called "hyper flash." Hyper flash causes accelerated indicator/signal lights. I had "hyper flash" issues upgrading to LEDs on this vehicle. But, no "hyper flash" issues on this vehicle with these LEDs.

Update: I do always try to read the description but did miss these are single filament bulbs so do not have an running light function. I stand by below as they are nice bulbs but now realizing I need different ones to retain running lights. After hours of searching, was happy to see a LED bulb that has the load resistor/anti hyper-flashing solved in one. Other bulbs I was looking at does say that they are frequently returned and that is because of the hyper -flashing which i am familiar with and know how to fix. The good news is, these are accurate and are plug and play. On my truck it was a hassle and a half to get to the headlight bulb location for the turn signal but after getting that figured out was able to unplug the old bulb and plug these new ones right in. Before I put everything back I tested and it worked flawlessly with no hyper flashing. Very bright and sleek looking.

After much searching, I've finally found them!Installed in just a few minutes (this will vary depending on your level of experience and the vehicle - some are more difficult than others, and if you have the correct tools. Changing vehicle lights is NOT a difficult job by any stretch though). Installed in a 2022 Elantra, rear turn signals. The Verdict: Bright, but not *too* bright - just about perfect, and no hyperflashing that I can tell, even after ~3 minutes continuous use, which is just fine for my purposes. I don't see a scenario in which I will need to have my signals on any longer than this.I may get a pair for my front lights now too!

Good price and high quality. This went on an 06 toyota tundra to replace rear turn signal bulbs. Results are that they work great, no hyper flashing, ULTRA bright compared to stock 7440 amber bulbs. The tundra has a clear housing for the turn signal portion, so this light really lets the people behind you that you are turning or switching lanes. Its telling people, not asking permission to merge over. Tested at night and haven't checked in the daytime yet but they were so much brighter than stock that it will easily outperform.

I bought these for my 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. They fit well with no issues and no hyperflashing. They are extremely bright too!

Edit: I got a chance to install the bulbs in my wife's car and they work as advertised. I can't tell if it's because the load circuit built into the bulb just happens to be sufficient for her car and the included load resistors would still be necessary for other vehicles, but they definitely do include a load circuit and driver in the bulb. (It was raining and I didn't have the ability to put them thru exhaustive tests with meters, plus I don't know what resistance the car looks for.)The bulbs are super bright and have a color temperature that's easier for the human eye to see than the OEM amber halogen bulbs. No one's going to miss it when my wife changes lanes or makes a turn. The instant on/off of the LED vs the fade in/out of the halogens is very eye-catching and, along with the added brightness, should increase visibility especially on bright days.I suspect that there's a holdover in the packaging method that put the unneeded resistors into the packaging. They may have originally shipped with non-CANBUS bulbs and were just packed in by mistake. (I guess I've got two extra load resistors and heat sinks hanging around for future projects now, because these aren't going back.)Review adjusted to 5 stars. While there was some initial confusion that could have been easily avoided, the product works as expected and advertised. Well worth the price and easy to install in the car I'm working with (2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe).See Edit. For now I'm giving these a 2 star review based on the difference between the ad and the package. These arrived today and, full disclosure, I haven't installed them yet. The ad lists that there's a built in load circuit, but yet these still come with load resistors in the box and instructions for how to install them. That the resistors are included rather than sold separately is nice, however, the point of CANBUS bulbs is to not produce errors and avoid cutting into the wiring with load resistors (as well as avoiding the minor hassle of positioning the resistors to dissipate heat). These were advertised to not need resistors at all. At this point I can only assume that either the bulbs don't have built in load circuits as advertised, they're potentially underpowered and will only avoid errors and hyperflashing on some cars, necessitating the use of additional resistors to compensate, or I somehow got the wrong item. Nowhere in the ad is it mentioned that anything other than the bulbs themselves are included, so seeing load resistors in the box was an unpleasant surprise.I'll be installing one bulb tomorrow to see if it produces an error or hyperflashing. I'll update my review accordingly. If the resistors are required to make these truly error free, I'll be returning them as they're for my wife's car and I'm not willing to cut into her wiring when I know there are bulbs that don't require it (I have several in my own vehicle and two in her front signals, but I didn't want to use switchbacks that might blind drivers behind her or appear to be reverse lights while they're not flashing).Hopefully this is an oversight, or mistake, but I wanted to give fair warning to anyone who considers purchasing these before I can determine the reality of the situation. I'll update when I have more information.
