Oxford primary index cards provide an ideal canvas for younger children to practice handwriting and learn early literacy skills. These special index cards are primary ruled on the front and blank on the back. The primary ruling is 0.5 inches with a dotted midline for proper letter formation through tall, small and fall letters. Tall letters extend above the dotted midline. Small letters sit on the solid baseline and do not extend above the midline. Fall letters (or descending letters) drop below the solid baseline. The blank side is perfect for creative expression and visual learning. Budding artists can use colored pencils, pens, markers, crayons, paint, stickers and stamps to fill the space with their creations. The perfect learn to write companion, these handwriting practice cards improve fine motor skills and sight word mastery through writing and drawing. The 5 inch x 8 inch size is easier to handle than a full size notebook or sheet of paper. A must-have for your school supplies list. 100 Pack of white 5x8 index cards.

Largest ones I ever had. Never noticed this size was available. I like it. I always find myself having more to write ✍ on a subject , plenty of room. If I need a smaller size, I just cut the card down.

Laugh at me if you want you young whippersnappers but for the last 40 years I have kept a recipe file on these 5x7 cards because my mom kept her recipes on 5x7 cards and now my granddaughters and grandson are learning to cook off of them…plus my daughters colored on them, “rated” them, wrote some of them out when they were learning to write…keep your old computers and flash drives! On to the third and now fourth generation of southern cooks!

These cards are good for studying as I am able to put relate information on one relating to a specific concept. I wish they were a little thicker.

These index cards are "as advertised" but, beware - they are sooo thin! Can you see through them, yes if you write with a regular marker. So, if you are using them for flash cards to study with, be careful with which pen you use. I used very fine Sharpie markers and it was fine but a regular Sharpie will show through to the other side.

These are thinner than many index cards, but are fine for my purpose.
