This is the note taking method I've used since high school and as a professor, it is what I preach to my students. This paper is thick enough to accept my fountain pen ink without bleeding on the back. I use this paper nearly everyday for my own note taking as well as teaching my students.

I had been looking for some Cornel paper for school (pre-nursing) but the reviews I read on other brands all complained of bleed through. I have not had that problem with this paper. I use sharpie gel ink pens and highlighters. Nothing has bled through even once.I’ve also used another brand that I bought at a local office store that was only one sided, this is two sided and I have no problem at all. It’s a decent thickness, writes smoothly, and like I said… no bleed through!!! You can tell that there is writing on the back, but that’s about it. It’s also pre-punched for binders (unlike other brands) without losing writing space!!!I will definitely be purchasing again!!!

Was looking for loose leaf paper for note taking to prepare for the PMP exam. I like the Cornell note taking method and wanted loose leaf paper so I could pull out specific note sections to take on the go vs. having to bring the entire notebook. After looking at several options, I selected the FocusNotes. All of the pages were consistent with spacing, lines and ink quality. I have been pleased with the overall quality and would re-purchase and recommend to my friends.

I like the quality of paper but I do not like that the title of each text has box. For example, cue..and purpose.. This was supposed to be comparable to Cornell note-taking system.. Isn't topic of lecture or title more appropriate heading? also instead of cue, isn't questions or reminders proper

I was almost discouraged by the other reviews, as I use reviews to decide what I should buy. Thats why I thought I would help others out with my own experience.I’m glad that I had actually accidentally clicked on this notepad and bought it. When it came It was in perfect condition and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I was looking for a tool to help me organize 1 million thoughts into a streamlined, productive workflow. It’s difficult for me to use just line sheets to take notes and organize ideas as it feels very ADD to try to break concepts into categories. This notepad is fantastic and it’s designed for separating your ideas and creating breakdowns that are easy to look back on and assemble if you have complicated, workflows, or information or data that you are trying to compile. It’s also very useful for writers and creative, for the same reason.Sometimes people return things in bad condition and it may get overlooked and resent out.I would suggest if you got a bad batch that you just get another one because it’s definitely worth it.I will be getting many more packs in the future!

I like that I can keep my notes for meetings organized. I love the layout of these. Other managers at my work saw mine and now they want these too.

I like this style of note taking for work meetings. Helps me remember questions that I want to ask later and it helps me keep up with objectives and goals. I like that it's loose leaf so I can reorganize pages in the order I want.

Great tear-resistance and time saving. If you value your studies then you should spring for this paper even if it’s 2-5 times as expensive as regular filler paper. It is nice and thick and is setup in Cornell style. I use it to extrapolate facts into a concise form and then use regular filler paper to elaborate on my abridged notes and to detail any personal thoughts, question, and ramblings.

This is a really useful loose leaf paper in Cornell format. 3-hole punched. Printed on both sides. It's also quite economical for study notes, bible study and organization. I'm starting to use file folders for better organization and study. So Loose leaf paper is quite handy without having to pile up notebook after notebook.I've tried just about ALL of the TOPS Focus Notes products except for their planner pad and the composition book. This is what I've noticed:The thickness and quality of the paper for each of their products varies.Loose Leaf paper, Spiral Steno Pads (large and Small), 8.8 x 11 Spiral notebook appear to all have the strongest paper quality and thickness. They are also printed on both sides of the paper. The paper quality on the legal pads seem to be much thinner, only a little thicker than wrapping paper. It's only printed on one side. Perforated, so you can tear it away. The pad slides in and out of a padfolio relatively easily, but when I held the paper between my fingers, I could feel how thin and wilty it was. So something to consider.Overall, I like Focus Notes because I like the cornell note taking system which makes notetaking easy to do and organize.

These sheets are great for genealogy research and all those details. In the upper right “date” line I indicate the family name I am researching, and on the “purpose” line I write the name of my parent . Along the broad line I write the various nationalities I find as I research. In the left “Cue” column I write in the birth and death dates and use the lined “Notes” right section for corresponding names and additional information, such as children, etc. I can also use the left side for photos if I wish. The bottom “Summary” section is used for notes, action items, info I question as legit. The three-hole punch allows me to slip these in and out of a binder, attach it to a clipboard. I appreciate that they are double-sided. If I use the sheet alone on the brown clipboard the lines from the other side are not visible, but if I put a piece of white paper behind the sheet, the lines are softly visible, which allows me to have three columns if I so choose. I copied one side to see if the lines bled through – they did not. When I copied both sides it looked like the original.
