The color is terrible and looks like a weird loaf of sourdough bread. It’s redish orange and looks nothing like the color of the pictures. It needs a good sanding along the edges as well as it’s a bit sharp. I’d give it between 3 stars for lack of color accuracy… and 4 stars because it is one of the only “rock/cave” hides that fit an adult ball python. I hope to find a safe way to make it more attractive. I just got it, so we will see if she uses it.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I went to petsmart and petco no hides big enough for my ball python. I hate the plastic ones.. I have ordered a couple off amazon and they said they were big but they are small. This one if you have a bigger ball python this is perfect!! It’s big and great for my use!!

I expected a more natural rock look with some greens, kinda like how the product image depicted. Instead, this hide is bright red and orange. Sticks out like a sore thumb. If I knew it was going to be this color I wouldn't have gotten it in the first place.ALSO, The inside corners are so sharp!!! If I can get cut by the edges, you bet my reptile will as well! Terrible! Asking for an injury that can lead to infection and death! Nope! Returning!

I got this for my beaded dragon to go into at night. He loves it and its large enough where he can turn around inside.
