traveling? in a pinch? getting a guest room more hooks? impromptu drying rack made simple? all of these and more can be done with this little device. like a pair of foldable scissors, it pulls open to reveal a long horizontal bar on which quite a few hangers or similar things can be held, in addition to its bottom hook for good measure. and it's aluminum, nicely painted, and easily portable for OTG globetrotters. not much else to say other than a hearty 5 stars for the convenience and tremendous ability for such a small form factor.

I did receive this via the Vine program, and my thanks to the manufacturer/seller and Amazon for providing it! Wow, was this ever someone's clever idea. I didn't think of it as something to bring on trips, but rather the laundry room downstairs by the door to the garage, where we hang our jackets and coats. We already had a nice metal hanger with multiple hooks, though they're cumbersome with more than a few things hung up. Now with this hangar, it's like having a mini closet rod without a closet.This is actual metal, when I was expecting sturdy plastic, and setting it up could not be easier. Pop out here, hang here, and let gravity do the rest!

This over the door clothes rack just as described in the ad. The fold down part measures 6.5”, without the extension rod pulled out and 12” with it extended. There are 6 notches for hangers; the extension is not meant for hangers and might not hold a lot of weight. It looks nice and stays in position when folded. My door was not thick enough for this device to fit correctly over it without tilting forward but I corrected that problem by taping a little piece of dense foam to the inside of the back piece that goes over the door.

I chose the white color and it's very pretty and well-made. It can fit over somewhat thicker doors. It can be pushed upright when not in use. It comes in two pieces because it can be installed with or without the over-door hook. You put the hook over the door and then slide the hanger onto the obvious receiving part. The knob on the bottom can be screwed outward if desired to help the hanger fit the door better. Instructions are not in English. Most people in my town will not be able to read the language that is printed on the instructions but there are drawings and you will figure them out. The only "con" I can think of is the connection of back to front separates rather easily. I may decide to glue the two together. But the hanger is a real problem solver when you need extra space.

We have limited space to air dry laundry, so this product has been a huge help. The photos do a great job of letting you know how to assemble it, which is great because the instructions weren't in English. I like how easy and renter friendly it is, since it simply fits over the top of the door. It also can handle a fair bit of down pressure, so putting a few damp shirts on hangers onto it while they dry isn't a problem.

This is so handy at home and when I travel. It holds a surprising amount of clothes and is built very sturdy. Hangs easily over the door and expands out if you need more space for hangers. Functions well and is good quality.

Fits nicely over my pantry door. I’m short, so it is difficult for me to flip down to use it. I need to get a spatula to flip it down … as it pulls down from the top.

Assembly was super easy, just slide the 2 pieces together.This is super easy to use, just slip the 2 pieces together and hang. I love that I can leave it tucked up and just use the knob for 1-2 items, or fold it down to have more spots, and then extend that to fit even more.I use this to lay out outfits for packing and for work, so in the mornings all I have to do is grab and run. It seems like having my clothes on here when I shower helps with wrinkles, too.
