The Ovation Adults' ComfortFlex Body Protector is an ASTM/SEI-approved, CE Level 3 Certified protective vest for riders. It provides a comfortable, non-restrictive fit designed not to compromise a rider’s abilities in the saddle.
Body protectors offer a degree of protection from impacts suffered in a fall by reducing the severity of high levels of energy dissipation often experienced. It features an easy-to-use YKK front zipper, adjustable hook-and-loop shoulder straps and dual hook-and-loop adjustable side panels.
Reflective piping on the front and back enhances safety in low light.
For maximum performance and protection, this body protector must fit snugly, be free from rips or tears and remain securely in position when adjusted for proper fit.
Caution: This body protectors is constructed so that the energy of an impact may be absorbed through partial destruction of the body protector. If it suffers an impact, it should be destroyed and replaced. The protective qualities of this body protector may be compromised by prior impact, age, use and many common substances. Always follow manufacturer’s recommendations for care.

Excellent quality for a more advanced jumper and rider. Extremely thick padding and grade per industry standards. We love the ability to change the fit with Velcro for colder days and layers or warmer days and short sleeves. Also adjustments are easy for growth changes

I ordered this body protector because of it's high certification and greater level of protection than many of the others. It also was priced well. Unfortunately, it is very bulky and uncomfortable. Part of the reason may be that I am short and I am not used to wearing a body protector. I ordered a small which fits really well and I like the way the vest is made, the velcro adjustments and zipped front. I just don't feel comfortable riding in it and have trouble getting on and off my horse in it, even using a mounting block. Again, part of this could be me. I'm a senior and short, so I don't exactly hop on and off my horse. This protector would probably be perfect for a younger, taller person.

I rode in the vest for an hour in 90 degrees. It was windy so air circulated well. I feel it will keep me from getting bruised ribs again! I am 5' 3" and 130 lbs, I purchased the small.

This vest is great. It really going to protect you and looks very nice. Definitely, better than the $400 ones cuz I got the expensive one too and wanted to make sure to keep the one that protects me the most and end up returning the expensive one. I also noticed that for the bigger size you need to pay more which on other websites all sizes are the same price!I am updating this review; This vest saved from a very big accident. I was riding a horse with kissing spine and lots of other physical issues that I had no idea about it. They told me the horse is a problem horse and I didn’t know the horse is in severe pain. The accident was very bad and I could be dead! I end up having a surgery on my leg but thanks God I was wearing this vest. I don’t want to imagine what could happen to me without this vest. I had zero pain around my chest and back and this vest kept me alive! If u are looking for safety go with it.
