I was able to repair the broken string in our living room blinds without too much problem. I think they’ll least a long time.

I'd found a .09 slipped a bit when paired with the other cord in my blind, and from another company I found two .09s were actually different! So it was with some trepidation that I bought this .10 ... and wala. Perfect. Finally.

This has a harder, more durable weave feel than the previous replacement string (different brand) that i ordered which didn't last. This seems sturdier and virtually identical in quality to the original string. I have Bali double cell bottom up/top down blinds that are about 20 years old, and one by one the strings are breaking. It is a pain to replace the strings, but the blinds would be very expensive to replace. I think this cord replacement will give these blinds another 20 years.

I found this when my wife was looking for stringing material for the roman shades she makes for customers. We bought a spool and have bought several more since. it has become her go to stringing material for shades and curtains. Excellent product.

The product is an exact replacement for the same size cords used in shades. With the cost of replacing window shades so high, its a waste to throw them away when the shade material is perfectly fine. Just follow the path of the original cord and you have a new fully functional shade.

The Hunter-Douglas "Duette" shades in our guest bedroom take quite a beating -- this is the second time I've repaired them, while the remaining shades in my house are still on their original set.The H-D Duettes specify a 0.9mm cord, but I thought I'd take my chances with this 1.0 mm version as it was a bit cheaper (and hopefully more durable) than the 0.9 mm offerings on Amazon. Turns out it works like a charm (although you'll notice the difference visually if you don't replace both the top and bottom rail cords, which I did not). Flows through the guides just fine, and I'm hopeful this repair will last longer than the last one. Either way, there is PLENTY of cord remaining to conduct repairs.FYI, I was able to reuse the cord ends and tassles, and you can use some skinny wire to thread the cord through the blinds instead of springing for a repair kit. Check out some YouTube videos to see how to proceed, but leave yourself plenty of extra cord length until you get your blinds hung up -- if you short yourself you'll have to repeat the rapair process ;o)
