These were returned. The holes that were drilled for the bolts to go through weren't aligned. One of the holes was actually drilled on the "bend of metal". I have no idea how that was supposed to work. (?) (We wanted a matching set, one 2-seater glider and 2 glider chairs.) So, after my husband laid out a bazillion parts and screws and bolts, he discovered the previously mentioned hole. Very disappointing. He repackaged everything and I started a return. However, in order to have the company pay (this was not sold by AMAZON and not PRIME)for the shipping, we had to provide pictures of the poor workmanship. So now we needed to unpackage one 2-seater, and two glider chairs and repacking it into the same boxes. What a mess. We had no idea if the others were damaged, but when you see poor quality in one, you assume that's the quality bar...not very high. The other issue was we wanted a matching set which the man I talked to didn't seem to care about. We did find other alignment issues with the other pieces, provided photos, and the company paid shipping via FED-Ex. ADVICE: Check your parts for damage/poor quality BEFORE you begin putting it together. (A bottle of Jim Beam nearby probably wouldn't hurt either.) I won't make anymore "third party purchases" from Amazon.

It's a great chair and I love almost everything about it. This glider rocker is very comfortable to sit in for hours on end and it is very bright, complimenting even the most complex decor with a basic white to tie it all together. For some unknown reason, though, it tends to be a little wonky and one leg will end up shorter than the other. I want to blame my porch, but it's made of concrete, so I'm not sure what is happening. I looked underneath and you can actually see it happen by pulling the chair forward (a back leg rises while the other stays put) and then pushing it backward (a front leg rises while the other stays put). Really odd, but I prop it up on something (to function as a shim) in order to keep it from happening. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to offer some tips on the installation. To simplify the directions, ignore the "S" and "O" parts for now. They are just cosmetic caps.Diagram 01: You are adding the "F" bar to the "C" frames. The back "F" bar is added with TWO sets of screws on each side. The front "F" bar is connected with only ONE screw on each side. Connect it to the hole farthest from the leg (or closer to the center of C).Diagram 02: You are adding the "E" bar. The back bar is as indicated in the diagram. For the front bar, align the extra hole of the "F" bar so that when you install the screw (M), it goes through the hole in the "F" bar.Diagram 03: You are attaching "D" to "A". On the front there are two drill holes. Use the bottom (lower) one.Diagram 04: You are adding "B" the chair to the frame. Pay attention to add "Q" and "P". Otherwise, you will end up having to redo that connection. The chair is ok. I prefer the "comfort of the glide" from the design they had last year which has a higher seat, a longer or taller back, and the seat is a little more narrow. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09RPCJGHV?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 They may have a better construction with the newer wider gliding chair, but for me it sits too low and the angle is less comfortable. For me, it is more fun to glide with the old design.

I ordered this set of chairs (and the matching loveseat) and am super pleased with the value, color, and ease of putting them together. I did all three pieces alone - chairs were easy, loveseat would have been better with two peeps but still managed. I’m a female over 65, btw. Great deal and very comfy!

It was challenging to assemble by myself. But eventually I got it all together. Good quality metal assembly.

It is vital to use the instructions of assembly in order for it to work. They are not entirely easy to understand and I think the price reflects the labor it takes to assemble it- hours! If you don't assemble it correctly it will make noise. We discovered this the hard way and the chair almost fell apart. Once correctly assembled you will have a comfortable and sturdy glider chair that is attractive. Nice classic style, and not too heavy, not too light. Some minor craftsmanship flaws, but easy to overlook. I do like the glide, the comfort and wideness of the chair. Perfect for 5'6" person. Any taller person will have their knees bent up towards them making gliding a bit uncomfortable.

I had to really ramp up the motivation when these arrived (I bought two) because you have to put them together from scratch. The good news is that after I assembled one, I could assemble the other from memory, so the directions are logical. Once assembled, these are smooth and quiet (OK, a little WD-40 on occasion helps). They look good and hold a pretty hefty person comfortably. So my five-star rating refers to how nice the finished product is. Just be prepared to be patient and follow the instructions to put it together. It is worth it. I enjoy my back porch so much more now.

The chair is sturdy and comfortable. Overall, I recommend it. However, the assembly is not fast or simple. It took me 90 minutes. I found the instructions confusing, and there were over 100 varied nuts, bolts, and washers that needed to be used. In addition, one of the holes on the frame did not line up, and it required my drilling a new hole into it.
